Adapt to it lol, it's what they are issued. They darkened it so it looks a bit more worn, and you still don't get caught out more in games because you don't have a gamey silhouette and rimlight attached.
@@FEDEXLuchs There was no desert camo for the US Army they always had multicam but a wonky version prior. The era of PLA Marines that Squad interprets only had the Type 07 Oceanic variant issued, as they did in real life for the period. Even in deployments to areas such as Dijibouti in Africa which is arid terrain the blue version was used as the baseline uniform, Squad is a realistic game, adapt to that potential con if you see it that way and work around it or don't vote for them in the first place. 😅
@@dembones9275 Green would probably be much better, but Chinese logic goes "What can we slap together quickly" and blue is probably very cheap, while still semi effective with waterborne engagements and small urban areas close to the water. I believe that is what they were going for, and if anything took them out of water and urban areas they send the regular army. But idk
@@johnngrey1nah, the theory behind this the type 07 Oceanic camo is actually for PLAN marines who stationed on small island at South China Sea. However the whole PLAN took it as the standard issued camo for the branch (other PLA branch also use one of type 07 camo as its branch camo, rather than use camo depend where they stationed, except dessert variant which is a standard issued as universal winter time camo). Only until 2019 the PLA tested and adopted to type 19 Xingkong camo and improved type 21 Xingkong camo, they did not changed the choice of camo depending on branch rather than stationed area.
What really sucks about the PLANMC ZTD-05 is how coordinated the team has to be to succeed with it. Having 3-4 amphibious MGS is an incredible advantage, but the armor will lose if it goes one by one against an enemy MBT head on. If you can get the team to cooperate and work together you will succeed, but squad players rarely coordinate enough to make that happen.
Damn, you're right, I overlooked that. The Chinese units are all over the place so I struggle to keep their available assets as organized on my data sheets.

AMENDMENT: PLANMC Motorized Unit (7th Marine Medium Battalion) deploys wheeled IFVs/APCs therefore that disadvantage is redacted
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
AO Strength: Littoral, snow/urban
Combat Strength: Ranged heavy anti-tank
Strategic Strength: Armored tactics
AO Weakness: Open, arid
Combat Weakness: Ranged
Strategic Weakness: Combined Arms tactics
biggest weakness is the camo imo
Smurf camouflage

@@TheMartin9199 bad take
US used to run a near desert camo on Yeho until they finally gave the US army green camo...

@@TheMartin9199yeah but the Chinese don't use this sht anymore.
blue camo really is one of the most idiotic things ive ever seen... like where are you going to hide with it? in the water?
If they do a zerg rush on Taiwans beaches they can camouflage themselves against previous PLA infantry
In dark areas or against urban colors (like concrete) they are actually really fucking hard to spot.
@@johnngrey1 i would have thought that light grey with sea foam splotches would have worked better

I would say a weakness of pla tanks and ifvs are how big they are. Easier to spot and easier to hit.

Great video but I’ve only played these guys once bc people only want to play Russia USA and Canada 😢
Great and informative video. Can you please do the Insurgent faction next, thank you.
Expect to see their overview in a few days :)
I'm pretty certain the motorized unit does use ZSL and ZBL APC/IFVs. But yes by far the worst faction in the game. Of PAC, the PLA is the best.

There is no worst faction in the game. There is skill issue, and no, no pun intended.
