I grew up in the 80s. Whitney was (is) one of my favourite OG divas so I'm really biased and critical when any of her songs are covered. I have been a huge Kelly fan and supporter since her Idol days so I know what she is capable of... I wasn't worried, I knew she was going to slay this the way she always does. I loved it. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍

A lot of black artists have an issue where they create a rock song and it becomes pop, or create a pop song and it becomes R&B / Hip-Hop / Rap lol

Very few covers of this song try to do something fresh and different. Kelly slayed the vocals and put her own spin on the track. I'd like to think that Whitney would have approved of this ambitious arrangement!

Heavily charted artist. Not at least. By this, or future generations. What that says about today's music industry. Is not only maddening. It's pathetic, & sad. We are gonna be the first generation. Rockin out. In our respective retirement communities. With an extremely eclectic, & much better overall quality of music. To choose from. In any genre / style. One of many reasons.
