Mario's voice is like crystal. It is clear and beautiful. Scott is strong belting the song. The two voice's together just beautiful, The depth of feeling and the harmonies are staggeringly brilliant. Mario takes my breath away. You reacted like I thought you would and you kill me. Voices beautiful, feeling of song is killer, you, the tears sitting in your eyes and mine are running down my face... how do you keep them from over flowing? Sorry rambling
Aw, Rob! You have a heart of gold and I love how you're not afraid to wear it on your sleeve. Both Mario and Scott have so much pure passion, talent and powerhouse voices that makes it even more phenomenal than the genius idea of this mash up. Fave song of the moment. Also... hi, Mario! 😉👋

Oh Rob! I had the same outward reaction. Thank you for reacting to this. Anyone who has experienced the profound disbelief that the one person, the partner through life that they trusted, felt safe with and loved passionately and completely has made the choice to turn to someone else, cannot possibly get through this without tearing up. Bravo to Scott and Mario for combining Hans Zimmer's score that breathes of "aloneness" and loss, to L P's lyrics that cut to the chase and gives a voice baseline to the feelings inspired by the music is sheer genius. I'm babbling through tears again

My first reaction when I saw Scott and Mario's video was similar to yours. I thought that I have never seen Scott be so very careful of his partner singer. Scott made a wonderful place for Mario to be safe? expressive? at 100%? I'm not sure the exact word to use, but Scott felt like bedrock and was perfect himself, while Mario felt utterly free and beautiful to me. They were a joy imo. Thanks for the reaction, Rob. I felt exactly the same watching this. And yes, SOOO intense! The passion was on another level. Scott's voice is so angelic and gritty at the same time. And Mario is just flawless too. Love your reactions, they make me smile as I react to PTX related videos exactly the same!

It's been wonderful watching Mario's journey. He has come so far from that first nervous performance when he was traveling with PTX.
I think this is my favourite reaction video to this performance out of all of them on RUclips. Rob doesn't pause the video anytime during the performance to talk about what he's seeing, nor does he talk over Scott Hoying and Mario Jose while they're singing. And you can practically see his heart swelling with emotion as he continues to watch and listen to the performance. This was an amazing cover, and I reacted exactly as Rob did when I first watched the video. I still find myself brought to tears everytime I see their video. Great job on this reaction video. I come back to it a lot and just wanted to leave a comment. :)

This was so sweet. The only song by Pentatonix that's gotten me to cry so hard I had snot pouring out of me (it was truly shocking as I never get emotional usually) was Light In The Hallway. Avi doing his thing was quite literally enough to make a grown man cry.

Hey Rob, Thanks for your reaction! This is such an epic performance in my opinion. The calm start, the wall of sound in the middle including Some terrific harmony of the voices, and then back down to calm... Grabs me each and every time. Mario's higher register and Scotts outburst are cherries on the cake, which for me makes this - sorry for LP fans - better than the original. Your first sentence summarises best: this is intense. Thanks Rob.
