I feel like the video is symbolic for the band's journey so far. They started off sat on a sofa, then they got moving a bit, they got on the road and started touring, Mitch became a proper rockstar, their career set off like a shooting star, but they're still the same people they were when they started off on that couch all those years ago.
Ms. Moonchild -- Completely in agreement about the PTX journey and your comments about how they are summed up in this incredible, incandescent video. I preferred Kirstie when she wasn't so goth, but the song ain't perky or sassy, so, as usual, she's in character with the voice of the narrator: "Nothing really matters to me..."
On IG they said it took 6hrs to arrange and 10hrs to film. They also give the significance of the moving couch - symbolising their journey and touring craziness
Their touring craziness is why Avi left the group.
Amazing reaction as always 😌 If they don't receive a Grammy for this I will be thoroughly shocked.

This is what Scott wrote about the video concept on his IG: "Wow. Ok. Cheesy moment...but bear with me. This Bohemian Rhapsody video has been one of the most intense and fulfilling projects of my career yet. From the 6 hours arranging session with @thebenbram and @kolusola, to a midnight choreographing/brainstorm session with @im_lindseyb, @coloredcraig, and @dano_o_ , the grueling overnight 10 hour shoot, I couldn’t be HAPPIER with how it came out. We start on a couch to pay homage to where we started and our original videos, and then we travel down the road to represent the crazy touring and journey we have been on the past 6 years. I have had an emotional 24 hours thinking about how grateful I am for the entire Pentatonix team, what we’ve been through, & how hard so many people worked to make this EP and video happen… & THANK YOU GUYS for sharing and watching and being so sweet as always. I really do love y’all and hope y’all enjoy the EP! :)"
I knew it was gonna be amazing but DAMN. That song and that video are a masterpiece. I've already watched it like a million times and I shall a million more :p

I think this could be their next GRAMMY just because of instrumental part of the song they did with their voices. Mitch own this song and Kevin standout too ,but they all was great.
Loved your face at Mitch's sly smile at 2:30--and your "come on!" when he flopped on the couch and played dead for two seconds, with his mourners walking along down the street--Kevin and Avi even had a hand on the couch, like pallbearers.

This has to be my favorite PTX performance. They not only did outstanding justice to this classic, but the sheer creativity involved in executing the video is genius.

Hi, Rob! I just watched your reaction to the Evolution of Music, and I had to smile when you asked at the end for a full version of Bohemian Rhapsody. When did you start predicting the future? You're awesome ... your reactions are so sincere and genuine. And you pick such wonderful music for your reactions LOL.
I like the contrast they built across the video; it mirrors the journey of the song very well. As usual, the performance is a masterpiece, but I'm not sure why we should expect otherwise at this point.

Rob we love ur reactions! My kids are obsessed, as am I with ptx! My daughter is 6 and Fridays are show and tell. Yesterday for show and tell she brought in a picture of ptx and told her classmates that they were releasing their ep today and that they had to tell everyone they knew! and that when she grows up, she going to be just like her queen mitch! I was there for her easter party.... it was simply adorable!

You are one of the VERY few reactors old enough to remember when this was first released. I was 5 the year it came out, but my sister is 12 years older and was my musical mentor. I GREW UP a Queen fan (along with The Police, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benetar, Def Leppard and the other greats in the 70's. I loved watching your face throughout this video! LOVED IT! Much Love!

I loved your reaction. So engrossed in the video that it really showed you were speechless. Yes, you had your mouth opened quite a bit, but I think if most of us were honest, we'd have to say the same thing. Funny how I never liked that song with Queen, but the minute I heard it from PTX, I loved it and quite a few of their songs too, like the Sound of Silence (didn't like the original but loved it with PTX). Great reaction.
The comments on the official music video kinda made me laugh.

I know they didn't have the time required on "The Sing-Off" but if they had done this for that show, the other groups would have just quit, knowing they had no chance in HELL of winning with Pentatonix in the competition. (They didn't have a chance anyway, but they would have known it.) As it is, when they did the "Let's Get It On" presentation, several of the teams knew it was over.
