Rick is definitely missed. He was such an important part of Pink Floyds specialness.
Rick should have had more vocals on the albums rest in peace to him.
RIP Richard Wright. Your songs were always delightful and underrated somehow. Always loved them such as this one (maybe my favourite), Summer 68, See-Saw, Remember a Day and many more.
I am listening to Pink Floyd since I was 10. 'Wearing the inside out' is one of the songs i have recently discovered (about 5 years ago). Can't get enough of it. Well ... can't get enough of Pink Floyd. No matter how often you listen, it's always like the first time. Pure love.
Rick really was the secret ingredient that made Pink Floyd what it was. RIP Rick and Syd, you will be greatly missed.
David Gilmour says that a lot in interviews
Yes he was. Their music wasn’t the same without his contributions.
anytime I hear any Pink Floyd, I remember my parents jamming out to Dark Side Of the Moon on Vinyl.
Nostalgia is what I feel.
Sadness.
Happiness.
Everything in between
Rick and Gilmour They were the soul of Pink Floyd. And his music, the best of all time.
The entire Division Bell album is an Amazing Masterpiece...!!!!
In the studio version they have female back up singers that really set it off...!
Rick Wright had the ability to wrench the heart of anyone still possessing one which was still beating and capable of being moved.
Rick, Guilmor and Dick Parry (sax)... fantastic! Your reactions is so beautiful and emotional. Than you!
The Division Bell is such an underappreciated album. There's some amazing stuff in there.
Wet Dream is such an underappreciated album. It's amazing.
Thanks for the reaction!
Ne zaman bir pink floyd hayranı görsem ona sarılmak isterim:) harika bir reaksiyon videosu idi.
Kudos for playing from Wet Dream, so underrated. That, and Broken China, were fantastic. Miss him so much.
Trivia... Gilmour’s guitar strap in this one used to belong to Jimi Hendrix. His wife bought it at auction for his 60th birthday.
I would like to have one of David Gilmour's guitar straps.😁🎸🎸🎸🎸
Tan lejos y tan cerca te genera esa atmósfera que recrea un floydiano cómo Dick Parry con su saxofón....
Magia pura en vivo y a todo color Pink Floyd.....
An incredibly fantastic band, an absolutely brilliant concert. One of the very few diamonds in the history of the Royal Albert Hall. "Remember that Night", David Gilmour live at the Royal Albert Hall. When Rick past away, David get broken. They was so deep Friends for such a long time and absolutely brilliant Musicans, just genius. It´s like Polly, the wife of David, said in a Documentary on BBC : "Since Rick past away David feels lost in someway...."
It's pure happiness listen to this excellente musicians. Wish it never would end
David Gilmore put out a solo album and did a song called there's no way out of here you would really like it
'Near the End' is quality too.
Gilmour you twat
Btw, its a cover
It was like floating on the ocean. They are simply masters of music!
Lovely 🥰
Love pink Floyd my parents brought me up on them and dogs of war by them is a good one
Richard Wright was a great one. RIP
I also saw gilmour on the rattle that lock tour. Amazing experience! Top 3 concert for me.
Thanks for this! I've always felt that Rick Wright was the most essential to the heart of Pink Floyd's sound. Summer '68 is another one of my favorites of his.
My biggest thumbs up to you ever! My first choice was Summer of 68, but Kel has already heard it many times as it was one of the first songs I played for her.
I love Rick Wright’s first solo album, I’ve had it since about 1980.
This albert hall concert is my favorite Pink Floyd related thing EVER! Just love it!!
That;s a David Gilmour solo show but with everyone except Nick mason (but the does play on Comfortably Numb)
Such a beautiful epitaph...
Rick Wright got depression when the fight between Waters and Gilmour got deeper and he was kicked out after The Wall by Waters. It´s about his suffering. Sorry for my english :-) Greetings from Germany.
Rick Wright, the gentle giant...
Wet Dream is my favorite Pink Floyd solo album. I have it on vinyl as a white label promo.
Whoa! Heavy duty @DM...I wore my record out back in the day. What’s your favourite on the album?
@@Kel.N.RichReactions Holiday is my favorite. But the whole album is solid.
Oh yeah, me too. I've lost track of how many people I have turned onto the "Wet Dream" album.
Richard Wright was a big fan of sailing, he had a 65 foot Swan sailboat and spent a lot of time on it
7k subs. congrats you guys
Beautifull song from an all time old fan
And they both have beautifull voices
Hey kids.... Ever see David Gilmour from Pompeii... Comfortably Numb is pretty special...Epic song and Epic place.
The flute on "Pink's Song" is Mel Collins from King Crimson. A master!
HOLY COW! NICE CALL!!!! I didn't realize that. Unreal talent. WELL DONE!
Yeah he really is pretty amazing. Saw the latest version of Crimson live in 2015 and Mel practically stole the show.
And the drummer on the Wet Dream album was Reg Isadore, same drummer as from Robin Trower's band during his monster 1970's albums and tours.
Oh, and the guitarist on the Wet Dream album is Snowy White.
Made me think of a reflection of his relationship with syd
First verse is about Syd. Last verse is about Roger/Dave in different ways.
Now that’s how you perform a slow song. Move over Barry white. Every era of Floyd brings a different aspect of genius. As a waters fan I’d seen this before but never truely listened. Brilliant live performance.
Well done, well done
PINK FLOYD ...HIGH HOPES LIVE PULSE TOUR 1994!!!
Awesome
#PinkFloyd Hey You Lévis QC Canada
Happy 25th birthday Division bell 🎁 one of the most beautiful album 🙂
Awesome!
No better thing in music than when Dave and Rick sing together, Burning Bridges is a great Time like track vocal wise that they both sing on.
RIP RIchard Wright.
Hug from Chile Friends
Shine on 🎶🎸🤝
This sing is about descending into and recovering from depression. Battling mental illness is a recurring theme with Pink Floyd. No doubt a nod to Syd Barrett, God rest his soul.
It;s about Richard's own fight with mental illness.
The Invisible Man (live 2009) by Marillion is a MUST!
Neverland (live 2009) by Marillion is also a MUST!
You need to also watch the performance - INTENSE!
Listen to the studio version with the female backing singers. It makes more sense then!!
The holy trinity: Rick, Dave and THE BLACK STRAT!
Another album by a solo artist from a iconic band from '78 is Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson. Such a great album..
Great Song
#pinkfloyd shine on you crazy diamond.
Try "Blue Light" from DG's second solo album About Face. If it doesn't turn you on, you ain't got no switches.
Holiday he played the piano so beautiful
whatching this is like you see your own reaction from their bodies , your welcome.
Saw Nick Mason and the Saucers here in Denver. Magical! Played nothing but pre-Dark Side music. Tons of Syd shit. One of the best nights of my life.
I’m Native American from the Navajo Nation and this is my favorite song of all, this performance, such a beautiful song/performance, I love how David smiles at Richard😌👌
David Gilmour live at Pompeii 2016 is a must
Anything by Diablo Swing Orchestra would be an interesting listen. That or UneXpect (Chromatic Chimera is a personal favorite of mine)
David Gilmour smile
Richard Wright sings the lead vocals on "Stay" on the underrated "Obscured by Clouds".
Nick Mason praised the album: "I think it was a sensational album".
LOVE OBC!!!! Love Richard Wright (Rock in Peace). 10/10. Summer of 68. Echoes. So much more. Rich
This song (Wearing...) is about Rick breaking from Roger's mental abuse over the years that convinced him he couldn't play keyboards. David, being the close friend he was, got Richard to start playing again n rebuilt his confidence. This hits home for me in a major way as I experienced the same abuse from someone in my life.
Gilmour seems to be a positive guy
Time for Careful with that Axe Eugene soon? If so, I strongly recommend the 1972 version from at The Brighton Dome.
There is an excellent version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond live at Knebworth on You Tube, to which no one has reacted. You might take a look?
Miss Rick.....
#Painitheask Riverside Escalator Shrine+Coda
He was on the inside of the band until Waters kicked him out... and silenced him. Then Waters left the band and Wright came back and got his voice back. A deep deep song!!!
Both songs are about Richard's battle with depression.
Since Kel is a classically trained musician (I've heard you mention Beethoven a lot), and clearly loves metal, I would suggest that you listen to Trans Siberian Orchestra's "Beethoven's Last Night" whether you do a RUclips reaction of it or not, it is a must listen for any metal head. ( I know that most everyone knows TSO from their Christmas albums, but Beethoven's Last Night is by far their best work).
Division Bell is a masterpiece. This song is a masterpiece (Wearing the inside out). Pink's song si nice too, I didn't know this one. ;-)
You should try "Broken China" the last solo album from Rick (1997), a truly masterpiece (Sinnead O'Connor on vocals), but very sad album about suicide. But beautiful.
The Floyd Gates?!!!
Hey guys! React to David Gilmour - On an Island (Live in Gdansk) please!
I am sure you are on track to put this one on the gondola. But a great tune for people weighed down by life. #painintheask pink floyd, fearless.
RIP rick😢😢
Saxophone IS saxophone!!!...
🌠🌌🌈🙏🙇
Please do a reaction to Celestial Voices from the Live at Pompeii video.
Pink's song made it onto my comprehensive compilation of all important 'Floyd & Floyd side-project songs in telling their story, in chronological order. Check it out as a resource if you like since I put a ton of research into it.

"Have You Got It Yet?" The complete, chronological, glorious & cautionary tale of Pink Floyd, as told through their essential studio recordings from 1965-2017
You should do an entire album in one reaction video. Maybe do it live? I think "Animals" would be an excellent choice. So choice!
I'm a new subscriber so I'm not sure if you take requests from the comment section or not but you should check out the song Metal Church by Metal Church

Apparently, years ago, Pink Floyd took John Martyn as their support on tour with them and when he turned up on stage with his acoustic guitar looking like a folk singer, they were not happy! Comments were hurled at him. By the end of his set they were standing to applaud and calling for more. Here is one of his his later recordings which, I think, displays his song writing craft and superb recoding production. Have fun. ruclips.net/video/LPy4-HCn6s4/видео.html
check out the PF song several "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict”
yes that is an actual song by PF as long as the tital appears :D
Try sum "Balls to the walls" or "Fast as a Shark" by ACCEPT
More Pink Floyd reactions
where do i find a woman who likes pink floyd's songs?
You guys should listen to some Mostly Autumn, very Pink Floyd/Genesis influenced music.
Obscured by clouds
Oh, by the way, which one is Pink?
Gilmour recently put up all of his guitars for a charity auction, refueling the theory that he's retiring. I'm not saying he is, just that the speculation is out there. He is working on a new album, so I'm a little skeptical. That said, he IS 73 years old, so who knows.
He did keep a few guitars, i believe. Hopefully he'll put out another album. Saw him on his last tour and he absolutely ruled.
Rick was the ONLY trained musician in the band at first.
#painintheask Take It Back and High Hopes from the same record
“The Great Gig in The Sky”
Have you guys reacted to any Santana yet ?
should of played the album recording not the live version
Try.. Comfortably numb
Can you react to slipknot psychosocial their best song or spit it out live at download 2009
This song could only have been written by someone who has had a life long struggle with depression.......
What's that shirt????????... Lol
#Radiohead Pyramid Song Denver Colorado.
That's Disk Parry on the Saxophone, and yes, he was on The Dark Side of the Moon as well. The Division Bell is, as far as I'm concerned, a very underappreciated album. David Gilmour once expressed the sentiment that The Dark Side of the Moon was almost too good for their own good. It overshadowed some of their other excellent work. I think The Division Bell falls into that category.
Def not MY fav pink floyd. But the music is still beautifu l.
Oh, it's pure Richard Wright, I agree it's not PF, but then David's isn't always, it certainly shows the respect the two men have for each other...
