Why did this true ending of a game get me emotional a little knowing the entire story of this game just makes the ending and the credits get me emotional 😭
It was a little cheesy, but there's nothing wrong with a little cheesiness now and again
@@AlmightySmorgThat's kinda the point. It's meant to show that there is pure goodness in our world that many of us molded from cynicism. The game in general shows a really good message, especially nowadays where almost everywhere you look is drama and hatred, and many of us are building off of that more and more each day and we don't even know it.
This is honestly the best mascot horror game in a long time, and there's no contest
Well it’s because it’s about puppets becoming twisted after seeing all the dark, edgy, and grim content that so many people were watching on tv.
I actually did everything backwards 😂😂 was following a walk through so I may re do it in order

I absolutely teared up a little at the end of this game when the song played. It truly brought me back to my kid days of adoring sesame street and gave me a bigger appreciation for kids programming.

As a New Yorker I can confidently say Sesame Street was a big part of my childhood, and probably big parts of childhoods all across the US
(I never did figure out where they filmed though)
@@protogen_apollo Among the very first tv shows I've ever seen in my life were two of Jim Hensons works, sesame street and the muppet show. Seeing all of the references to Jim Hensons works, characters, and movies and how much love for the source material they show makes me enjoy this game even more.
@@RambIeBerries I see you're from brazil. Im guessing sesame street/the muppets either didn't air there or they weren't as big but yeah thats what Most of this game is parodying. If you look at some earlier footage of the game norman looked a lot more like ernie from sesame street and im guessing he was changed for legal reasons.
Edit: so im just learning there was a brazillian counterpart of sesame street called "Vila Sésamo" supposedly it was succesful but it stopped airing in 77 due to high production costs.

It's always kinda charming to se the media than the characters consume in another piece of media. It's like you are one of their audience and you can get yo feel why the people in that world loves it. With My Friendly Neighborhood, I'll feel just like a child again, watching an episode of Sesame Street ❤️

You know, I imagine in my crossover, I sing the song with pretty much every hero and villain I know of before the Friendly Neighbors arrive, before the song one of them might do Norman’s singing from the first trailer of MFN and then another might do the kazoo part from Billy Joel’s Piano Man, and then the song begins.
Oh my gosh, I do that with my favorite TV and movie characters too!

When hearing this after beating the game and thinking about all the puppets you have killed and regret it hearing this
You don't kill a single puppet in the entire game. You can knock them out, but they get back up afterward.

They don't really DIE. . . as they respawn when you leave & re-enter a room. . . and Even when you tape them down; they still are alive since they still keep talking!
