The Mars LJ 800 Kemper Profile Pack seeks to recreate the sound of a mid 80s JCM800 modded by Lee Jackson. The “Lee Jackson” sound I would describe as a rolled off low end than something like a soldano, and a sweepable midrange push with clear top end bite. (M) denotes profiles with a higher midrange push. The tone is the late 80’s LA Hot Rodded Marshall sound from countless records recorded by, Via, Warren Di Martini, George Lynch etc.

The Marshall JCM800 is My all time favorite Marshall. The 2205 was My favorite. I had two of them. Hopefully one of Your profiles is close.
Zakk Wylde, Steve Vai, George Lynch and Warren DeMartini, now you've got my attention. Desi should have played some tracks from No Rest For the Wicked and Dancing Undercover! I did dig "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight" and "Dr. Feelgood".

Question
If I select a profile, if I choose to turn on an effect that isn’t turned on when I open the profile (let’s say the post delay/ reverb), is that the effect setting you set up for that particular profile to be used, is it that my last settings I used personally with that parameter?
It won’t save any changes you make to the profile. You have to save them manually. Nothing is saved automatically.
@@shadowm3ld no I mean when I buy this profile pack. But let’s say one profile doesn’t have the effects on. When I turn on the effects are those effects what the creator of the profile made? Or my effect parameters?
@@gmel1084 ah, I get what you’re asking. I’m pretty sure the effects are what HW programs in. You can swap out the effects and change whatever you like. I know HW likes to program in EQs and compression, but you can replace them as you like. You should be able to save it the way you like and as long as you have the original files, you could always load HW’s original settings.
@@gmel1084 I'm pretty sure they're the parameters HW sets. But it's easy to switch out effect parameters. Another thing you can do is say you have an always on reverb. If you have it on "lock" in the Kemper, then when you load up ANY profile, HW's, or any other profile, then it loads everything BUT what you have locked in that slot. So, I used to have a general reverb at the end of my effects chain that never changed no matter what profile I loaded. Another thing you can do is go to the profile that has the effect with the parameters you like, and then copy it. Then load up whatever profile, then paste in your effect into whatever slot you like. The Kemper is great for things like this. And then just save it as a separate profile.

Are there special difficultiea for you to create it? Because of the limited dsp Power and the limited Patch places?
