Sure I know there are much better cameras out there, but my Sony a6400 has been great. It just works and gives me great results. I love having a small lightweight camera to shoot with. What about you, what is your favourite small form factor camera?
I just got my a6400. I looked many different cameras, and I chose a6400 pretty much for all the same reasons you gave. After 2 days I am really pleased with it. It seems to be a very good quality and a very portable 4K photo/video camera.
Yep, the a6400 shoots in 4k 30fps and 24fps. I think the a6400 is great if you are on a budget, if you can afford the a6600 go for it, but I think you will be happy with the a6400. Good luck. Tell me what you end up getting.
i have the sony and i use it to shoot land scapes, but i think i need a sony lense cause now im using a old canon lense with a adapter and sometimes the record get blur and the auto focus doesnt work well. Also should i buy a rig for just a micro and a led panel? i use it too to record so i was thinking about rig the camera but im not sure. Hope you answer me and i love your channel
Ya the Sony lens and Sigma lens work really well with the Sony camera, the autofocus is incredible. I have a rig that I use sometimes, but I really prefer to use the camera itself and a shotgun mic. I like the small and simple setup. Thanks for the nice comment.
The kit lens is great to start off with. I used it for a few months. It was great for photos and video. I even used it on the a6400 with the Ronin SC gimbal. When I did upgrade, it was to the Sigma 16mm lens and it is great, and I don't use the kit lens very often but I'm glad I still have it. Good luck.

I'm a creative lead for a social media agency. We use the A6400 and the A6600, they are great little cameras!
@@hectoremilio1 right! They just get the job done. Nothing fancy but I'm really happy with the image. Do you prefer the a6600?
@@DavidDavies I do prefer the A6600 but only because of the bigger, long lasting battery.
@@hectoremilio1 ya the better battery would be great. I have five of the smaller batteries for the a6400...and sometimes I use all of them!
Thank you for this video Dave, it's great!

Congratulations on the new camera, it really is a great camera for the price. The 4k is incredible. Have fun with it.
*Love My a6400 and Looking to get the a6600 also.*
Nice. There's talk of a new Sony APSC camera coming out. I'm really hoping it has 4k 60 fps.
I just ordered one last week with Sigma 30mm I can’t wait to get it in hand
That's a great combo. I have the 16mm and the 30mm and I love both. Most people talk about the 16mm but the 30 is great. Have fun.
@@DavidDavies hey!! I got my a6400 I love it, but I worry about the tilting screens durability how is yours??
I'm using 550D. Still great :) with sigma 17-50 2.8
Nice, that's a great lens.
Hey Dave, I am budget wise considdering buying the A6400 instead of the a6600... Does it film also in 4K/30fps?

Extra crop at 30 fps. You lose some on the wide end...

Should I buy sony a6400 with kit lens or body only and buy lens seperately? As people are saying kit lens is only a show piece. Is it true?
