It's just ashamed what you people comment. Ok so she might not have "normal" hands but she is still human, she can still do what she needs, and she is aloe and well. You should keep your rude comments to yourself.
The "clever cutting" isn't for aesthetic purposes. It's actually an easy way to remove the eyes quickly and still leave as much of the fruit remaining as possible. :)
+RattleKnight In India we don't go that round and round. There is a steeper way the dots connect and its much horizontal. And takes less pain, this video is for foreigners who pay more when they see art. If you show this to an Indian, he will not pay any thing to you. He will just say I rather do it at home.
info on why the pineapple is cut this way: Most people don't realize that pineapple plants only have the potential to produce 1 fruit per plant a year so it is quite a treat for someone to actually be able to have a pineapple where money and food is scarce. this method of cutting the pineapple keeps more fruit intact.
Yes salute to that woman even with 8 fingers doing work. Bravo and supporting her family. Her fingers cut because of big knife all day have to use. Hygenecally she is not touching finger uses plastic bags for us. I had no idea how to cut pineapple so I saw this video. Is centre portion of slice is to be eat or throw away?
I'm drinking a pineapple juice right now. I unpeeled it and put in the blender with sugar and ice. I don't take out all the buttons, only the bigger ones and then I let for 30min with a little of sodium hypochlorite (bleach).
Wow that machete is super sharp..I wonder how many Americans it hacked down... :P. Anyway, wasn't there a really big problem with M16s in the Vietnam war? I remember hearing something about American soldiers ditching their M16s for AFKs they found sitting in the mud , and rain for weeks or months even. As their guns were super unreliable in those conditions, whereas the AFKs had less parts worked better, didnt overheat and were super reliable even after being submerged.

were you visiting VietNam? And this woman's finger, base on her age, I guess she was born with it. There is a generation in VN being born and somehow handicapped like that because their parents have dioxin in their body in the war. (FYI: agent orange, dioxin) But still she did her work good, i myself can not peel that pineapple as fast as she. Thanks for uploading ^^
she finally mastered the right way of peeling and cutting the pineapple after 2 long years..but she should've used plastic gloves on..because she is a food handler..i'm always craving for pineapples... especially when its too sweet and you will sprinkled a dash of iodize salt..hmmmmm..yumyum :)
***** Yeah, I just checked it again, the name's correct. I originally put it as a background music from RUclips's audio swapping library, mostly because it was similar length to the video. Oddly enough, I can't seem to find it with Google anywhere either. But it can be found if you have a video on RUclips: Just go 'Edit' the video and choose the 'Audio' tab, the search feature there finds this track.
Hmmm... if I went to work on a slippery pineapple with a knife like that, I might possibly also end up with fewer than ten fingers. Sigh... but she makes it look so very easy.

His one hand is disabled. Thumbs up for the guy and respect for makin a clean living!

Her finished product is gorgeous, a work of art.
I don't know about anyone else, but I was dazzled by the perfectly spiral pattern. Simple mind, simple pleasures.
I've never seen this technique before, definitely going to save some pineapple vs. thick trimming it.
those of us from the Caribbean also peel pineapple that way as well. we also use the "skin" to make a great fruit punch drink
Everyone peel pineapples like that in Vietnam. It is because we mostly are poor. So any eatable part wont be wasted.
Der Zeitreisepunk Echt? Ich hab nie Ananas in Deutschland gekauft.
in mexico, we eat those motherfucking dots.
abraham garcia

Seems like a lot of work, but it took her less than 5 minutes. I'm impressed.
now thats knife skill this chef is respecting to the fullest.
That's neat how she made it look like a drill bit when she was done. Was she selling them or just cutting them up for show?
she's so clean with that pineapple, she didn't even touched the part that the client is going to eat
Beautiful job and preventing waste. God Bless! What caused the damage to your hands?

I can't open a soda at the beach without getting sand in it
Never knew she had 8 fingers until i read it up above. I was more into having how the pineapple was suppose to be cut. She's a pro.
@hass008 the person who uploaded the video recently changed the video description. that wasnt there when i came here.
Opening and removal of pomegranate seeds found very much interesting as it does not damage the flesh.
Gracias por este momento tan educativo de como pelar una piña Rich

I ate 5 bananas while watching this video:)
Best is to use narrow flexible knife. Fruit sellers in Penang can do one pineapple within one minute.
this is the perfect pineapple cutting music.
respect for this man

In Peru, we take off the pineapple's eyes... one by one. One good method is to use the handle of a spoon to get them out.
yeah, I now feel SO in the mood for pineapplePeeling! yeah :D!
Wow! Ninja turtles are real!
real fancy to cut pineapples, i reallu come to learn something for free, well done.

Pineapple, fresh, is absolutely delicious. Damnit, now I want some.
@kevin296 I am certain that she knows where they went so, technically, they are not lost.
I cried when she ended up just slicing it anyway.
Well ... there's a complete waste of 4 minutes and 44 seconds of my life that I'll never be able to get back!

after the first step it looked like a minecraft sponge
i thought those were stripes on the plant design but okaaaaay
@agentjucey deformity. Not surprising since she's from a less well-off country.
8fingers o.o on each hand?
@kevin296 maybe because she had lost her fingers while practicing peeling the pineapples? :)
Hmmm... if I went to work on a slippery pineapple with a knife like that, I might possibly also end up with fewer than ten fingers.
Sigh... but she makes it look so very easy.
I had used the tip of a knife to cut around the thorns/eyes but it never occured to me to do this...holy crap!
Very very clever!
very very good
I can also see why she wears pants with blood-like streaks already printed on them
i was in thailand used same method of cutting it there
