Love your content! ETFs pays! I have a considerably large position on SVOL, SCHD is about 35% of my Roth IRA SPDR S&P 500 value Tilt ETF is about 31% of my Roth. The rest is covered call ETFs for all 4 US market indexes, international, extra concentration with sector ETFs with energy, health care, utilities, WTI futures and general commodity futures ETFs. these allocations balance out my portfolio.
Hi Joe I am so big on individual stocks and it has worked well for me, but I also like to have a well balanced, low-cost set of ETFs that keeps the money in my pocket. I'm impressed with your collections How effective is your ETFs approach returns on the long run with this lot?
superb Paul adhering to well established patterns from a professional standpoint would make you love high yielders efts! I've set up a spreadsheet of high yielders, total allocation to each position, monthly dividends (avg) and I got to say I'm going all in when the time is right (double). I mix both high and low-medium yields in my portfolio, but the higher yielders is the way to go on efts.
Thanks, Mark, for an interesting presentation on these four monthly dividend paying ETFs. While I do not own any of them, I do own SCHD which pays dividends quarterly. Good stuff!
I like to look at jepi and jepq and a higher beta replacement for bonds or an alternative asset to equities sense selling calls is not the same as just holding equities.
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
Hi. I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second child. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks
@@Donnafrank-k6e However, if you do not have access to a professional like Clementina Abate Russo, quitting your job to focus on trading may not be the best approach. I'm not advising but will give you my thoughts. I'd want to have basically the Roth when you retire if you have a choice between a 401k and Roth. Ideally even moving the 401k to the Roth if possible at reasonable cost overtime. However giving up the match is a waste of some money potentially to not do the 401k. The downside those with a 401k and Roth is they will be in your name. If you know scripture, you really don't want anything in your name really and world reasons might also recommend a trust. Elite financially of the world I've seen them say control but out of your name scenario as well for everything really. That being said at retirement a dividend income would be ideal verse eating away at the nest egg in payout. Either in a Roth or a Trust/Brokerage would likely be the best scenario. Otherwise just a brokerage. Then you have the idea that some of the dividend payers are tax free. These type would be best in the brokerage and other in a Roth in that capacity. however it depend on your needs, circumstance, strategy and money really. If your living on it an not of retirement age then you wouldn't have it in the Roth. If you are the retirement age and living on it then the Roth would be best. As I understand it all.
I've heard that index funds and ETFs provide diversified stock market exposure while spreading risk. I have over $800K in savings; What's the most effective strategy to allocate funds in my portfolio and generate profits?
If a fund is 50.22 per share and the 30 day yield is .84% . Does this mean if i put $5,000 in I will recieve $419 a month ? Did do the math right ? Someone please help me so i can get started 🙏
You wrote that one share costs $50.22 and pays 0.84% monthly. So, your stock pays 50.22×0.84÷100=0.4218 dollars/month. Every 50 dollars you invested will give you 42 cents dividends monthly. If you invest 500 dollars you will receive $4.22 monthly. If you invest $5000 you will receive $42.18 monthly. To receive $$421.84 monthly you have to invest $50,000.
Will not buy any thing with J P Morgan's name on it. he is responsible for a lot of blood spilled or his family is. No way it can have a long term benefit.
All the robber barons have blood on their hands.: Rockefeller, Carnegie, Vanderbilt , Ford, Westinghouse, etc. JP Morgan (the man, not the company) actually bailed out the US Treasury/Government with his personal funds-twice. Prevented 2 separate government defaults single-handedly…just saying. I invest to make money & JEPI/JEPQ have been good investments so far.
