- So this video I’m going to talked about the problem with xb43 amplifier that was powered from the 2.5” midrange woofers believe me guys please listen carefully because I’m actually exposing Sony company amplifier so I decided to connect with a 6” proper woofer so the other woofer was powered by Fosi Audio BT30D amplifier
Channel link youtube.com/@s...
I do free air speakers and I did a free air one of the xb43 2.5” woofer and please click the link of the second channel
Interesting test
Yeah bro
Just bought one a Sony xb43 and i cant wait i got it for 65
Nice bro I just like the woofers
@@Speakerpro7435 how loud does it get indoors is there a big difference between the xb33 and xb43
@@darrenwipf9868 not as loud indoors it plays like 80 to 70 % volume at max volume
@darrenwipf9868 will I never had xb33 speaker but I think the xb43 is better because it does have tweeters while xb33 it’s just with two full range speaker
Nice
Thank u
Most all bluetooth speakers have this "issue". As another commenter noted below - it is not a limitation of the amplifier itself, but rather a factory-imposed limit in how they program the DSP filters. Most these bluetooth speakers (I have JBL and Bose ranging from small speakers that fit in pockets to large ones practically on wheels) are optimized to deliver maximum impact at 60-100hz. When a cone is trying to reproduce output below 40-50hz, the amp will quickly run out of juice and you would loose a ton on output at the higher frequencies - or worse - hear tons of distortion. Thus... they typically do a rather hard roll-off starting around 50hz or so (give or take 10hz). The other reality is this: in order to even get any decent amount of "sound" at frequencies below 40-50hz, you typically need far more power than a battery-powered device is doing to have (within reason). You also run into cabinet size limitations, re-inforcement concerns (to limit vibration, etc) and the biggest of all: placement issues - you don't easily get 30hz bass when a speaker is placed just anywhere. All reasons why trying to get any output below 50hz is a fools errand when talking about a "portable" bluetooth speaker.
Ok bro
I have some cheap speakers that have none of that and there's no loss at high end
It's not the amplifier, it's the DSP Sony uses.
Ok bro my mistake but yeah I don’t know why they put it like that
JBL have it too, but you have the option to disable or enable it@@speakerexcursiontest8755
Hey guys it’s me JBL speaker pro 45 this is my second channel here
But I dont think that Sony Woofer can handle lower bass witht hat seemingly stiff surround without it having to be overdriven.
They have very nice clean excursion but there is no mechanical noise there is a ventilation hole on the bottom of the Sony 2.5” driver
@speakertester.1861 hey bro I have my second channel I did a free air videos of the xb43 woofers
