What magnificent animals. Oh how beautiful is he! The white is so bright on him. I’m betting you do have some great shots with that camera. Thank you for this wonderful video. It was amazing.❤️
It was a great day, and definitely l'll do it again come spring when they're a little more active. This winter wasn't too bad for them, and yes, they look fat and healthy 👍. Thanks for the comment, Terry! Have a great weekend 🍻
Very interesting and enjoyable video! Those horses are real beauties....and the white one....OMG. So glad you captured him on film. Very much an awesome day. Thanks for sharing 👍😊
I love seeing wild horses in their element although, I have never seen them in the real outdoors. PBR, good choice of beer, I used to be a Utica Club man myself when I would visit my sister in Upstate, N.Y. Good idea on thawing out the beer, never waste one.
Hey Jimmy, another cool video. I never would have thought wildhorses would be out in the wilderness as in forestland...for some reason always thought of them in the southwest...just shows you what I know! Those horses though were beautiful! Loved the deicing the PBR piece...just too funny! I have to go back and check up on your videos...didn't know you got an RX, I knew you bought the GX. Great to see your Canon AE-1, brings back memories when I was buying my first camera, couldn't decide which to get a Canon or Olympus, ended up with the Olympus brand, but those Canon cameras were (still are) great cameras. Again, great job with your editing, don't know how you come about with the music scores (loved the piano music mix with your road driving shots), but it comes across really nice.
Hi Steve, Thanks for the comment. These horses are very cool and obviously very rugged. Getting a glimpse of the white stallion made the day. 😁👍 Using these old film cameras is great fun. I love this Canon; I just picked up a 90-degree view finder for it for low waterfall work. Thanks for the comment buddy and have a great Sunday 😁👍
Very cool to get some footage of those wild horses. Especially the white spirit horse. PBR freezes because it doesn't have enough alcohol in it. Drink a real Canadian beer!🤣🤣
I hear Darrel from HAWS in your video, right? I can see WhiteSpirit, he is one of the stars in Alberta, BC Darrel and Barbara are doing a wonderful job tracking these horses!
I stumbled across one of your videos - Christmas at the cabin, and then clicked on this one. The horses were so beautiful and I love that you shared your experience watching them. I was wondering if you knew why the one horse kept playing with a dirt area and seemed to rub his neck and shoulder into the ground over and over????
Hi, and thanks for the comment. Allegedly, they do it for pure enjoyment, and it also helps them shed. I'm no expert but this is what I have been told. 👍
@@JimmyMeatwhistle Good morning 🌄 Jimmy...and thanks for ur reply! I began to envision many of the dogs I've had growing up in my life when they would find something along our walking path and do the same behavior; but, they always returned to me with the lovely stench of doodoo LOL... so I was questioning this behavior in a horse that looked like a suitor was attempting to approach after rubbing itself into the ground... so I was giggling thinking that "Oh Lord does the stench of crap attract the opposite sex LMAO???...I must be doing date prep all wrong" 🤔 Perhaps I will skip my Dolce Cabana The One scent and just roll around in the yard 🙊.
Absolutely outstanding video...initially about the horses and the landscape, of course. And then I spit my coffee out with 'The Emergencies Act'. Living near Ottawa you would have thought we had hordes of democracy zombies coming to get us! Great one mate.
Lmao I would’ve just thrown that beer away and got a proper beer :) I didn’t know we still had wild horses in Canada. Thought they were all gone and only found south of the border these days. Beautiful animals for sure.
Oh my you need to catch up with history. It seems all three horse species came from north america. The lucky ones went over the land bridge and we in canada ate the suving ones into extintion.
Good morning Jimmy. I was rewatching this video. I love the fact you provide great facts on these wonderful horses. This is very interesting.
Thank you, Nancy! It was a fun outing for sure. They are rugged animals, and I'm definitely going to do it again. 😁. Have an awesome weekend 👍🍻
I enjoy every video, but this one is pretty special. Thank you for sharing these beautiful animals. Pro move on the beer!
Thanks, BT! Much appreciated. It was a great outing 👍🍻

Thank you, Nancy. Much appreciated. Yeah, they're very cool beasts, and how they make it through the winter out there is amazing.👍👍
Enjoyed the video. Beautiful senery and horses.
Thanks, Perry! Lots of space out there, that's for sure 👍🍻
What a fun day in the woods. Those wild horses appear to be surviving very well.👍👍

LOL, thanks, Ken. Yeah, they're very cool animals and definitely a good tip on the choice of beer 👍🍻😁
@@JimmyMeatwhistle I thought you would laugh at the beer comment! Haha!

It was a long way back to get another beer, LOL. Thanks for the comment, Sheldon. much appreciated 🍻👍
@@JimmyMeatwhistle you need something with a little more alcohol content lol
Hehe, good idea. I'll bring some of that Scotch with me next time 😂💪
I’ve seen herds in both Jasper and Banff parks…I wonder how many herds are in the park systems?
I believe there's a total of 600 wildies in Alberta and, of course, some in BC. They go where they want 👍
No Old Milwaukee??? 😆
Just teasing ya.
I should never leave home without it. 🍻😂

Not true. But thanks for the comment.
Wolves, bears, mountain lions harsh elements. No food..
Thaws beer.
Me: We gonna die out here.
Want one?
Me again: The hell not 🤷🏻♂️
Nemiah Valley?
Nope, in Alberta 👍
Love the emergency act, definitely what us British ex soldiers would do 😉👍
Hehe, thanks, Adrian 👍🍻
Can you hunt them in Canada I? Would? Love to?
They are feral horses, not wild.
Exactly
Youre hilarious! You sure dont know much about horses and how herd mentality is!
I don't like horses much, maybe that's why.
