I agree with you! Bring back the buttons! Our eyes aren't on the road like they should be, because we have to search the screen to find the settings we need. 😢
I have a 24 wilderness and the touch screen controls have grown on me.. can't say they're better than the physical buttons though because sometimes they freeze
I have a '22 wilderness. After the update I uploaded to the car, the controls are at least on the main screen now, but I just use the voice controls for my climate control. Don't have to take my eyes off the road or dig around for settings, button or not. I haven't touched my screen for climate related stuff in a year.
In 2020 at the Chicago Auto Show, a Subaru executive told me they would produce a small pickup truck for 2022. I am still waiting, would you rather I buy the Hyundai Santa Fe?
i own both of these a2023 oyxn turbo outback a 2024 crosstrek wilderness they are both great just a little different shop your needs you can not make a misstake
@@cgeiger23 I own a Crosstrek Sport and an RAV 4 hybrid. On interstates hybrid gas mileage crashes. The Crosstrek outperforms the RAV 4 by a substantial margin on runs from AZ into CO or CA. So it all depends on what kind of driving you do. Also, if you live in the Southwest, heat kills the life of hybrid (and EV) batteries. OT but Subaru's all wheel drive kicks butt over Toyota's.

As many are saying, a hybrid Outback and/or Crosstrek are needed ASAP.
They have them in select US states.
I had a hybrid crosstrek. Had some major downsides. I opted to upgrade to an outback non-hybrid. I do miss the fuel economy.

The 2024 Crosstrek has a lot of road noise that the 2023 didn't have. No good.

Apparently they sell them in select dealerships in CA as well as a few other states.
