After watching all your XP11 stuff, I went and bought it while remaining skeptical that my computer could handle it. Loading a flight for the first time was nerve racking. I fell in love immediately once I took off with one of the standard Boeings. I come from FSX where endless tweaking is necessary for even a chance at decent frames. Straight out of the box XP11 ran amazing. Thanks Jeff for reigniting my passion for such a wonderful (and expensive) hobby!
This video really helped me know what's going on through a flight, and I loved the way you X-plane'd (sorry) what you were doing the whole time. As someone who's just interested in how these things are flown it was gold. Thanks man. Off to check out your other flight sim videos.

Hey Jeff loving the content, I make sure to watch mostly every video. One thing that I like about this channel is there is a lot of interesting mature content on here. Flying into Tampa would be Amazing. While ATL might be my current local airport, I grew up in St. Pete and spent plenty of time at Tampa.
X- Plane 11 has so much potential. I really hope that some of the major FSX/P3D addon developers realize this and start developing addons for this platform.

I did the arrival route from ATL to Orlando in real on a 738. It was a the new livery with the double shark fin wing tips. you should try that.

What I find odd is that when using the IXEG in XP11, the N1 idle is at 11-12%, but isn't it near 20% usually in XP10? Is that a bug?

26:14 Popping ears? Isn't the cabin pressurised to equivalent to about 8000ft? Shouldn't that going remain constant on the descent?
Winds mostly effect ground speed. Not really indicated air speeds. On the ground, you'll see some higher indicated speeds when the wind is directly into the pitot tube, but the aircraft will still operate/fly at the same indicated speeds. The cause for your 270kias on climb out was because your pitch was a little low.

I have and X-Plane Flight Factor 777. Whenever I try to land an ILS approach, the plane fails to follow the glideslope leaving me too high. Any suggestions would be great!
I normally set my MCP panel to 2000 feet, the problem with that is that I am too high on the approach. By the time I get on final, I have 3 miles max to descend and line up with the glideslope and papi lights. This requires a very steep and unrealistic landing.
When I try to set the MCP lower, I end up being low, way too early.
When I watch flight simmers, they seem to have the plane automatically follow the glideslope indicator. This is what I fail to accomplish even though I input the runway frequency and engage APP and LOC mode.

hey Jeff! could you possibly do a flight from BWI to ISP. it's a connecting flight I regularly take to get home from college. it's a short flight and it's on the east coast which is something a little different than you usually do like this episode.

Hi Jeff nice video again. Can you explain why the gear lever has to be moved to off when it is already retracted please?
Pops 272 think it’s to do with pressurisation
It de-energizes the hydraulics for the gear. Left in the up position the hydraulic system is maintaining force to keep the gear up, once they’re up and locked it’s not needed until you want the gear down, moving the gear to “down” re-energizes it, lowers the gear and keeps them in the down and locked position. That’s why it’s kept down and not moved to off to keep that system active. In the old days we’d put gear pins in to keep from anything happening when the plane was shut down for the night and all systems were off. It may have to do with not putting unnecessary wear on the system, not 100% sure though.

I am confused, was Jeff flying with the center fuel pumps off, leaving the engines to suck their own fuel? Or is it a visual bug where it's actually On but visually isn't

I was in aerofly and my Air Canada B744 wouldn't take off. So I went full reverse thrust and stopped 5 feet from the end of the runway. My nose was even off the runway
