"I'm going out", were the last words from 30-year-old Jung Joo-hee to her father before setting off for South Korea’s Itaewon district on October 29, 2022. She was among the 156 people who died in the Itaewon disaster. Remembered by her family as a delight who loved animals, Joo-hee was laid to rest in the city of Namyangju five days after the tragedy.

We're in KOREA year 2018 w/ my sisters. We love the people and the culture. We promised that we will come back soon in korea but sadly my eldest sister past away last year. No words could explain the pain but we have to be strong..i feel the pain from the family..in behalf of the filipinos my prayers goes to all the victims and to the beareved family...

I felt that. We lost my brother suddenly last year and we still feel the void he left in our family almost a year after he died. This is so heartbreaking to watch.
I work as a therapist and in my time in the field, I've never seen pain as deep as when a parent loses a child. My heart breaks for those families.
