- We made it to the middle of the world! Quito, Ecuador's claim to fame is that it sits on the equator. We did a bunch of fun experiments that you can supposedly only do while close to the equator: like balance an egg on a nail and witness both directions of the Coriolis effect. Also, it's supposed to be very challenging to walk in a straight line.

Absolutely, it’s called Quito Polo Club. quitopoloclub.com.ec/en/hotel-2/ Included with our trip to La Selva Ecolodge in the rainforest was a one night stay in Quito as it’s a required connecting stop. The grounds were breathtaking and the staff was super helpful. Would highly recommend!

@@lhamilt Athens. I visited the acropolis, the parthenon, mykonos etc. but I also visited local spots. My restaurants were the black sheep and Mani Mani in Athens. I love Greece, Portugal and Sweden. They're my top 3 and Spain and Italy. There are others as well. Czech republic is a quaint, cool city too.
