SERIOUS ANNOUNCMENT: Pause at 13:04 and look further down the hill in the backround. That's a propane gas tank. If the owner of that truck you hit hadn't parked his truck right there on that very day, you would have smashed right into that and more than likely have exploded. It's strange to think that if something as simple as the owner of the truck you hit had forgotten his keys to his house and went back to get them, you would be dead. That's the kind of stuff that gives me nightmares...

Ronan Allen You've watched too many movies. Those propane tanks won't do anything if you crash into them. You could shoot a propane tank and it still won't explode.. It will leak gas, but without a spark, it won't ignite and it won't explode. You're overthinking the severity of this situation.

Its weird yes, as if god is telling you not to do it. I crashed a W140 mercedes of the same size cliff going 80ish mph, car rolled 2 times and if i didnt hit a tree the car wouldve rolled down another cliff which would have been a disaster. If youre feeling like something is off, dont take the chance.

I got in a car crash with my dad and my brother.We were going to my grandpa's house,and we had to go down a very rocky and unsteady road.My dad was making a turn,but he lost focus because he saw something on the side of the road and we crashed.My dad died 😢😢 and my skull was slightly cracked and my wrist broke.My brother broke his chin and his nose.I am 10 years old,so you could imagine how important my dad was to me 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Turning the wheel + no turning of the car = Understeer. It's when your front tires lose traction while the rear tires keep traction, so the car goes straight or at very slight angle, even while turning the wheel. There was probably a patch of dirt or gravel y'all hit when the driver started to turn.
Also, trying to say that you guys weren't drifting by repeating the fact that y'all were in second gear doesn't help your claim. Second is pretty much THE gear to be in when you are drifting on curvy roads like that. I'm not at all saying you're lying, just telling you for future reference. Also, the fact that you were in a 240sx, an extremely popular drift car, is a hilarious coincidence. Hope you heal up fast.

They could have died if they were going over the speed limit then crashed. I have been on that road with my dad and I know the speed limit around the corners are 35 - 40 mph so if you think they were going over the speed limit then your not thinking straight.

You guys are extremely lucky, I am very happy that it wasn't worse. I literally tripped over a shoe and landed on my arm and broke it, both bones clearly broken. So it just shows how easy/hard it good be to break a bone.
Btw I am very careful and not clumsy either. I was 11 at the time.

I was in a crash with my mom when I was 5 I was throne from my car seat idk why but I was and I flew and hit my head my mom nearly died as well as me I was in a coma or something for at least a week they didn't think I would make it I had very bad breathing level and my mom said when she went home that night she had a dream she talked to my dad and he said he was watching over me and I would be okay after that I was fine and when I went to sleep the night i was not in the coma thing I remember it my dad said he'd be there for me and I have a long life to live I dream about him every night that I talk to him and he's with me beside me every moment and I know that he's there with me I can feel him and because of that my mom thinks is why I'm here today

My father died in a car accident last year, it was about two in the morning and he wanted to go to the Casino but his friend refused (my dad had a high tolerance to alcohol so he wasn't drunk). I remember rumors around school about him. My family thinks that he fell asleep and he ran into a tree, flew out the window and landed in poison oak (he was allergic). You are SOOOO lucky. My friend was in a HORRIBLE crash about ten months ago. Her skull one her right side was in her right hip, she was only in a coma for 1 week that's lucky. She has lost some memory and has some brain damage, but she has recovered in the sense that she can go back to track and field but is now special ed. The her boyfriend at the time was in the car too riding shotgun, and he was very tall, he had to push his set far back wich had saved her live. Unfortunately he died on impact. It was all so sad, one of his friends killed him self, and the driver of the car had felt so much guilt. The car was hit my a truck and the driver of the truck also didn't make it.

This video just impressed me so much. When you say something like "I remember every single moment" i get chills. I had an accident, nearly 7 years ago, I know what being nearly to death means, being in hospital and stuff like that.
These are things you'll never forget, they change you for the rest of your life.
You may think you'll die cause of the old age, but then this happen and you just have to think that nothing is taken for granted, that maybe life isn't taken for granted, things can happen in every moment.
You may get over it, but you really never forget those sensation, those emotions. The real sensation that everything is coming to an end. I really appreciate that video cause you've so much courage to speak about this, I think i wouldn't be able to.

Glad to hear you and your friends are ok.. I was in an accident about ten years ago, we were hit by an on-coming car at about 45 mph by a person who was on their phone/texting. The vehicle I was in ended up flipping into a parking lot on top of another vehicle. My mother and sister had to be life-flighted, and my other sister and I had gone into shock. It was insane how fast everything happened, and I was in disarray for days afterward. Definitely makes you think about life, and makes you nervous behind the steering wheel. If you're reading this, please use this as motivation to stay off your phone while driving.. That driver easily could have killed my family and I, leaving my dad all to himself. Much love friends, stay safe, and have a very happy holiday season.

I've been into an accident before, it all started when me, my mom, and my brother were leaving from somewhere and we were on the right side of the road, in the shoulder and out of nowhere a black or brown truck (I think it was black) was going 70mph and we were stopped and he rear-ended us and I think we spun in a circle before going about 2 feet from the ditch with trees and train tracks behind them, we almost hit the trees and before we almost flipped, my moms back was hurting and my brother had his eye-brow split, not that bad though, I almost broke my nose cuz when he rear-ended us I hit my nose on the back of the left passenger seat and I was shaking like never before, my aunt was holding me and I was crying like crazy, a few mins later we were in and ambulance going to the hospital and I was sitting in the chair and my dad (wasn't in the accident ) came running into the hospital and I sat in his lap and the doctor checked for glass in my hair, which I had some, and that's about all I remember and I don't know who drove us back cuz we either stayed at the hospital or I think my aunt drove us back, but yeah that's my 100% true story and a moment I'll never forget. 🙏🙏

I used to go on windy roads like this all the time and yeah, you always have a cautious and concerned feeling because you never know who could be on the other side of the bend, but he just knew. You don't just think randomly you could be killed or pray or anything like that during just a drive like this. They are so lucky to be alive
