This was one of the most awesome groups back in the 70's. I saw the Ike & Tina Revue in the early 70's at U.D. Arena in Dayton. I have been to hundreds of concerts over the years and they had 2+ hours of kickass music. This was my favorite concert of all that I have seen.

Ike&Tina Turner 1971, during the week they gave a 1.5 hour concert in the studio.Was like a private concert, because only a few insiders and the recording crew were present. I stood behind a camera, with the cable in my hand as if hypnotized, electrified, eroticized, as if on an LSD trip in another world sunk and was only minutes after this dreamlike experience again reasonably clear in my head.
Fuc-ing Ike, pushing the tempo in the break, no doubt just to make the girls move faster. Despite that, Tina conquers all. Good on her for finding her way out of life with this guy and showing the world how to live.
