Rest in peace Tina Turner. Strong, smart, independent, and damn sexy. What an incredible human being. Setting a great example of getting away from an abusive relationship and having the courage to go out on her own.
We have lost an icon and Heaven has gained an Angel.

They did have a son together, & adopted each other's children from previous relationships. I have a friend who lived with them when he was young & remained friends with both Tina/Anna Mae & Ike until the day they died. (So sad that Tina is recently now gone). Actually Tina became significantly better after separating from Ike in 1976. I was at her concert in Stockholm, Sweden, in January 1978 and then she was absolutely stunning. True dynamite and then some ! She had improved a lot as an artist after her divorce from Ike. I guess Ike somehow held back her creativity .... anyway, what a singer/artist she was !!!

Bon Scott apparently said "that if I die, I want Brian Johnson to take over."
Also, Brian Johnson lived two or three doors down the road from bon Scott.
Brian Johnson used to be in a slade tribute band.

    • @johncooper2265

One of EXACTLY TWO songs he sung during his audition. Every singer that auditioned was tasked with singing the band’s “Whole Lotta Rosie” & suggesting one other song that the auditioning singer would announce to the band. If Malcolm & Angus pooped on the auditioning singer’s song request, they were shown the door (no matter how well they might’ve sounded on “Rosie”). Obviously, Malcolm & Angus appreciated Brian’s song of choice & we’re ready to jam to it. After his audition, they gave him the job & cancelled all the other auditions. The power of “Nutbush”.
