Your problem is that youre too much of a soft touch. No wonder they both took advantage of you. Even at the end, you still had to go back to her when karma finally caught up with her, just for her stupid family to blame you, directly or not. What a nerve.. what you need is a good set of guts. Like you said, your life was going well, until she pulled you back into her crap all over again. Just leave it alone. She got what she was owed. Let the situation die peacefully and move on.
I believe she is sorry. I believe if you would go back to be with her, she'd be the best wife ever and she'd never cheat on you again because she's going to therapy. I know people think it's all bullshit excuses, but how you were raised, your mental health and your whole childhood + adolescents really can make you do stupid/crazy stuff. This sucks that it happened but unfortunately, it did happened. Hopefully, you guys can just erase the past and try again on a clean state. Not everything is black and white and not everything should be about the ego or pride. You were hurt, she is willing to try and heal you from the pain she caused you. She, even tho no one will agree with me, still cares about you and will probably until she dies. That guy was the biggest mistake of her life and she knows it. Even if you guys get together again, she will never truly forgive herself for what she has done and will be so afraid to lose you again... A lot of therapy, honesty, compassion and time is needed here to heal you both from this.
