    It would be great if you make a part 3 of this series, but with examples. How to present your models, give credits to the concept artist, what to show (and what not to show) examples of "students vs professionals". Would help extremely much. Thank you again for making these amazing videos, and the things you say are so so helpful. Keep up the great content.

    20:25 I'm at that part of my current sculpt. Sometimes finding those inaccuracies and subtle details to add and where to point the viewers eye adds so much time. However, I agree it is critical because that is what adds the realism to a creature and suspends audience disbelief.

    Thx for being brutaly honest. I like that u say u need to have props aswell. Ive been thinking about that cause nobody will let a intern or junior do a lot or any characters its like u said u do modeling. And im fine with doing props in the beginning and work my way to characters. Ill just make characters on the side thn. I really enjoyed this video. Thx guys!

    Living in iran it's actually really hard to even get paid cause of sanctions, i can't even get a bank account outside iran. I even lost a really good freelance job cause internet went down for a week+ when protests began.
    Will move out of here next year but it's been a pain for the past years working like this and losing really good opportunities cause of things i can't control.

    Hello. I have a question. So I really hoping to get into film industry as a modeller. However there’s much less opportunities in the film industry than in games. If I couldn’t find a job in films right away, do you think I should get in a game company first? Or should I keep improving my portfolio and wait for the opportunity? Finance is not a issue

    I notice that like 95% of all characters on Artstation are rendered in a proper renderer, as opposed to Marmoset toolbag. For people wanting to get into game industry should they have only characters rendered in a proper renderer (which of course wil make the character look ten times better) or Marmoset?

    • @FlippedNormals
      @FlippedNormals  5 лет назад +2

      For games, present it in a real time engine that would reflect the actual have model. Marmoset is you're best bet

    Hi, I love your channel and it has taught me so much. But there are a lot of areas that you don't really make videos on. Rigging and animation are good examples. I get that you guys were character artists and therefore don't know a lot on the subject. But could you then perhaps hire someone that does know a lot about the stuff. Someone like you who has also been in a professional production and knows how production is in those areas.

    36 minutes of 2 guys talking ..not very interesting or compelling. Consider this 1..You are communicating on a visual platform (RUclips) and 2. Your target audience are visual artist..who respond more to visual info than audio info. It would have made more sense if you showed examples of Character art or Character Artist or some Portfolios of some character artist, etc..or anything more visually engaging than 2 guys talking for 36 minutes

      @@rodcav3There is some irony in your demeaning comment about me in that you seem to need every sense to be stimulated in order to take in information. All the things you listed regularly exist in the former over latter, where I'm from anyway. I dont want to have an argument, but it sounds like you want to, which I think maybe affects your judgement. Try to chill out a bit!
