I hope everyone is well? bit by bit this kitchen is finally coming together... for those that don't know, I want a country cottage style kitchen, but also one that is easy to keep clean, tidy, and not cluttered. (7 of us living here)
so we're onto part 2, and it's,

I would definitely prefer new kitchen to a bathroom as my kitchen is such a stupid awkward shape from previous tenant that it drives my insane with all the nooks and crannies to clean. So definitely team kitchen for me xx
Yeah I know what you mean, and it's less work in a bathroom compared to a kitchen. I'd love to pull my bathroom out though and re do it. I'd have a curved bath, where my sink is, and a shower where my wooden shelf is... bliss!!! How's your bathroom feeling?? Bet you chuffed to have a bath now 😀 xxxx
Aw Gaby it is just so beautiful, honestly I love cosy, country kitchen vibe and you have nailed it my friend...NAILED IT! I had carpet burn on my hand the other day and not from anything exciting, I was scrubbing it with a cloth and boy it got me a beauty, it's still sore now actually. If you put a country style tea towel around those pipes like you do with socks it will cover up the pipes a bit for you. Enjoy your day tomorrow sounds lovely XXX

Kitchen for me. When I hear you navigate your pain I remember feeling like that. I have been on the fibromyalgia road for almost thirty years and I have gotten to a place where it isn’t so excruciating. I don’t know if it’s because my brain has just adapted 🤷♀️❤

Well done you. Looks fabulous. Take care of your health hon. This may sound gross, but massaging mustard oil infused with ginger juice into the inflamed sore muscles. It works for me. I'll DM you how to prepare it ❤🤗
I'm literally climbing the walls right now, they are so inflamed with pain. This is the worst flare on my thighs I've had. 😒 ill try anything to help, you're an angel, thank you ❤️❤️❤️

I’m pushing for a new bathroom as we did the kitchen about 6 years ago which cost a fortune but in saying that, I can’t believe the cost of renovating a bloomin bathroom!
We had quotes upwards of $25k. (Which is almost as much than the kitchen cost).. So, I did me some bathroom DIY putting stick-on floor tiles over the 70’s tiles and painting some of the tiles around the bathtub area and new taps (which looks a lot better), we replaced the bathroom Vanity cabinet, mirror and shower screen but the cost of water-proofing and new tiling is utterly ridiculous coming in at just under $10k so I’m now trying to convince hubby that it’s necessary-wish me luck 😂 looking forward to seeing your next adventures ❤
Wood effect looks great with the new cupboard colour. Hope you've recovered from the effects of all that hard work ❤

Great Job! Beautiful!! I’m so impressed. You’re so Brave! I hate my countertops, but your bravery has made me rethink it. Also, I’m in America, we don’t always have the water supply up front. I’d maybe try hiding it with a vining plant or a false cabinet door. But besides that, your Kitchen is Beautiful. Nice Job!!! 👍

I can relate with the run down, I get ADHD burnout and can feel myself getting ill, it starts with fatigue and nausea.
If you're going to Sharnfold make sure you're all in wellies, we went on Thursday and the squelchy mud was up to/above our ankles! 😂

Wow looking fab, I had my kitchen done a year ago, my hubby did it, navy blue units with oak tops, I blooming love it, but never again the mess and dust, your doing a great job, looks so nice already, your washing machine area will look great when you get too that bit, 🌸🌸sam🌸🌸

I would like a new bathroom. My local council put in our bathroom and it’s awful. We took this bathroom on when we exchanged. We’ve had endless amount of problems with it. We rent through housing association. Wouldn’t be with paying for a new bathroom ourselves.

You fablon pro! That's amazing and you made it look so easy. I think I'd have to go for a new bathroom... I live in a really old house and the fixtures are so old. Don't get me wrong - I like it - but the room is really quite large and it would be interesting to see the space used better and more artsy fartsy?

I would love a new bathroom especially it was redecorated and had a new floor etc. For the most part, I did get to design our kitchen but it still needs to be decorated and I'd love some new flooring. Think you've done an amazing job- I use sealant on a roll which is very easy to use and is waterproof straightaway. Enjoy your day out with the boys xxx
We call that paper either Contact paper or peel and stick. I used the marble on our shelves in our bathroom storage closet. We had to get our bathroom redone because it was awful - the tiles were falling off the wall and there was mold etc. But we didn't want to steal space from an already too small office, so were limited and went with a walk-in shower and no tub. The vanity and sink and toilet were also replaced but we told them to leave the corner cupboard, just to save some money. Really stupid because it was such a pain to paint and the shelves were horrible, hence the marble contact paper. It looks okay, just a long way from being perfect. Keep your microwave until it dies. The new ones don't last as long as the old ones and they are not as good of quality. My moms was over 23 years old and still working when they had to sell her house. I don't know where it ended up. Your kitchen it looking so good. Can't wait to see what you do with the washing machine area and the wall paint color. You have some really great ideas. I bet you were sore all over after pulling off that paper. My gosh. I was afraid it was going to tear and you were going to go flying.Sorry fir the ramble.

Beautiful i used sealant for first time last month panelling i never knew how hard the gun was and didnt know if u pull ailver trigger thing on end it stops it coming out when not using it i was shoving nails in 😂 i painted and changed handles 2 yrs ago and loved kitchen but i can still see how it doesn't work as a kitchen had this design 22 yrs so id change kitchen but then when u sit on our toilet one leg touches radiator and other the sink so maybe that 😂❤

Looks great! You can dip your finger in soapy water before smoothing caulk also does a really good job.

Hi gabby omg l love your kitchen what a great job, l did mine with the wood effect & l had the same problem with the other vinyls, B&Q t sell various vinyls they're from different supplier l'm sure the wood effect is B&Q brand if that makes any sense. Hope this doesnt come across wierd but some you tubers get gifts sent in was wondering if thats something you would feel comfortable with as you are doing give aways just thought it would be nice if you recieved a gift for all your hard work and generosity, hope my comment hasnt made you feel uncomfortable.xx

Don’t change your microwave. Our first one lasted twenty two years. Our next one needed repairs before it was two and is rusty and scruffy after five years. They don’t make them to last now.

wet hair dripping down my back like last week standing at the bus stop freezing pouring down and water dripping down my back i just exploded i shouted out " stop it , stop now " everyone just turned and stared then an elderly lady put her hand on my arm and i realised what I'd done.. when the bus came i just sat down a stared ahead and when i got off i glanced back at the bus and the remaining passengers were laughing there heads off ha ha ha
