Fell into Django a few months ago and now been going around the world listening to all these great guitar players playing gypsy jazz. They all have some great talent. But one thing that stands out with Mr. Wrembel is he is on another level. He stares out into to space and his fingers take off. I'm surprise smoke does not come off that guitar. Django would be impressed.
What a great place to play to. Looks like some ones house. Now that would be a great house party!

The violinist is terrific. And I will also say that the guitarist in the middle is taking the rest of them to places they never imagined before this recording date. I love this session.

Swing 48 was a impressive show of talent. You are all just flying across the strings, the violinist just killed it!

Thank you so much for your comments - the violinist is Marla Feeney - who is as you noted very, very talented - she normally plays in Bonaventure Quartet - the leader and guitarist is to Stephane's right (in the shorts) - and it was a house concert. You might want to check out the other videos from the same gig (listed in the video description) especially ruclips.net/video/0ysReIxtncM/видео.html . Another Gypsy guitarist who smokes, along with a fabulous violinist - try ruclips.net/video/9gmIS_a1CFE/видео.html , a Django tune running into his own composition that whole gig is very worthwhile (other videos also listed in the video description).
