I watch and listen to this piece over and over again because I am completely fascinated by the joy and skill of these super talented young players who enjoy their music so much. Just watch them bounce with the rhythm as they wait to play their solos. This is down to you Joan and how you have inspired these amazing kids. en tant que grand admirateur de Django Reinhardt & de Stephane Grappelli, et de tous les musiciens qui cultivent aujourd'hui le "Gypsy jazz" (Bireli Lagrène, Tchavolo Schmitt, Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Joscho Stephan, etc.), je dois dire que je suis très ému d'entendre cette version si vivante et si fraîche du Minor Swing. Bravo et merci !
#115 of the things i love about the Chamorro pedagogy is the tunes he is teaching them...First learn Bach then compose atonal music. First learn the classics of jazz then go crazy.
Of all the versions of minor swing this is by far my favorite. Django Reinhardt never moved me like this performance.
Joan Chamorro is keeping jazz and swing alive through to the next generation. Thank you.

I have heard Andrea Motis a couple of times live in Barcelona, she is an amazing singer but the world of jazz needs more of your trumpet. You have "it" and your ideas are unique and we want to hear more! Please play more trumpet at your concerts today, you are a breath of fresh air playing it and I hope you will show us much more in the years to come.
