How I Gained 27 Lawn Maintenance Clients in March

  • I did quite a bit of work on the back end this winter that is really paying dividends this Spring. A lot of content I wrote and videos that I made were circulated through closed facebook groups. Those videos and those articles positioned our company at the front of our ideal client/buyers mind. Our route density has increased tremendously and I wanted to share with you the strategy I used to make that happen.
Good luck to you and your lawn business this year.
    Jonathan C.

It’s funny, I was just thinking about this video while walking outside. Came in and saw it on my feed. The more spiritual I get the more clairvoyant I become. Best Wishes in 2021.

Lol you had me laughing when you said there is a woman somewhere in the background pushing a man along for what needs to be done. It’s so true! I mostly communicate with the wife of my clients. In fact I never met several of the husbands and have been servicing them for a few years.

Kris: Firefighters. They're on for 24, off for 48. Physically fit, no background checks, many are looking for part time work, especially the young guys. Working out great for me thus far. Contact local stations or have your fire fighter friends ask around.

Hey brother, always love your videos. I’m starting a lawn business this year. Getting out of the shift work with oil company! Anyways when you send the articles in these closed groups do you still throw your name out and offer your services or do you just send the article and let the customer come to you? Thanks again for everything and I wish you continued and blessed success!

In regards to employees... do you pay by the hour, or a flat rate per yard, or some other way? Also do you have seasonal employees or do they work year round? Lastly are your crews paid on a1099 or W2? Thanks for any feedback.

I have to admit, it sounds fairly complex.
1.Learn information that you can write articles about
    2.Learn how to write articles
3.Write articles about information from step 1
    4.Learn how to use Facebook
5.Create Facebook based content and maybe a Facebook profile?
6.Learn to spread this content on Facebook in these groups that apparently people use to find lawn care
    7.Buy uniforms and nice equipment
Then, finally you get more customers. I assume Facebook has some type of tutorials to explain how to do this stuff?

Best place to get accounts = empty house waiting for new home owner to move in. if your handing out flyers to existing homes they already have lawn care. Go to new home builds

Agree with you. Honestly tho there is such a higher demand for landscaping vs just mowing. Everyone wants shrubs trimmed, bark spread, gravel, stones etc. I've found that lawn mowing can be limited, or even just a gateway into landscaping itself.

I feel like i get all the shitty lawn care clients that put me on the back burner. Dog poop in yards, late pay, asking for extras. Poorly irrigated lawns. People asking me to skip weeks..

  • @Cyberslug1
    @Cyberslug1 6 лет назад +8

I find the complete opposite. 99% of my clients are men and the men decided to hire me to make their lawns look nicer than their neighbors, because they feel like the lawn is a burden or they don't have time to do the lawn. I was able to build my company from 2 clients to 110 in 3 months because I targeted men in my advertising. when I targeted woman it was a COMPLETE disaster!! They are very indecisive and make decisions based of how people look instead how their work looks. I'm not a pretty guy so targeting women cost me $800 dollars just to get 2 female clients vs targeting men, getting 110 male clients and costing me $300
