1:22 health before everything! I’m a brand new to Forza Motorsport player and your breakdowns contain a wealth of knowledge. It takes me a rewatch or two to understand all the concepts you break down. You’ve given much to consume already and we are grateful for your dutiful commitment to producing well researched tuning builds and not the usual clickbait. Sending thoughts, prayers, and best wishes!
Hi Jonathan . Hope your resting up mate. Im sure i speak for many in saying we Look forward to seeing you back on here . Rest up dude . Hope your keeping well 👌
My family is praying for you man! I love your content and your genuine down to earth personality. Can't wait to see you come back from this better than ever.
hey man hope your doing alright, its been awhile. rest up brother. PS: your tunes have helped me alot, dropping those lap times and getting a better understanding on the suspension geometry, tuning is a bit different in this game.
Holy snap - I'm so sorry to hear about what you're currently battling with - It's crazy as i've not long ago found your channel. Wishing you good energy and vibes so you can get through this and hopefully maintain good health!!! Stay strong man!
Thank you for your service JB. I love seeing your new videos and always look forward to trying out your tunes. Best wishes and prayers for you brother! It's been a few months since any update. I truly hope you are doing well, wherever you are brother.
Greetings from Spain, I wanted to thank you for the number of setups that you are sharing with the FORZAMOTOR community, for me most of the ones I have tried work quite well with my steering wheel, thank you very much and greetings mate.🙏🙏💪💪.
Sending best wishes for you! Thanks for the content! Was hoping to have us (Illusion Racing League) mentioned here too in the communities part. We homologise the cars as well with proper stewarding. Currently Porsche Cup, Season 2 will be GT3 based and also multiclass with LMP/LMH coming in the future. Hope you‘ll recover fast and painless!
I was only able to do the communites I have participated in. I can add yours to the description, but pointing it out in video would have to be a later video.
fellow vet to a vet prayers for ya brother yea AMG is a solid car but its biggest weakness is the curbs other than that it can win i just need to figure out the curbs in the tuning
Whats up man TWCR WEEDMAN here! Didn't realize you had a channel definitely subbed I've raced against you for several years now! we should definitely collab sometime! Good stuff man! Hope your health gets better man!
Hello Mr Burnham I wish you get to feeling more like yourself thank you for the great videos I hope you have a great day and all the best to you and your family.Take care coz we care from adi
All the GT cars are upgraded, or downgraded in mnay cases. The Merc is weird, because it gets tires and race brakes, which would put the PI at 833, but for some reason they upgrade to race brakes that lowers the weight 74 pounds, and then they add 71 pounds to the Merc. It's weird.
Really strangely I struggle to copy tune’s exactly, so when I’m adjusting it seems to go up and down in 4s not 1s on springs or geometry so I can’t match exactly, am I doing something wrong
This is a problem of how Forza adjusts. I can only adjust .1 at a time on suspension geometry because I use a mouse on PC. Otherwise it is in clicks of .4 if I use the keyboard or controller. If you don't have the option, get it as close as you can. Springs just get as close as you can. They will fluctuate based on fuel load, which is annoying.
I’m no expert but I find your driving style is a little similar to that of Max Verstappen, with a deliberate turn-in, and your tunes feel very pointy with a healthy bit of oversteer to extract the most performance. I have to be on my game with your tunes, but when I manage to finesse it (I use controller), I can pull amazing lap times. Thanks for the great videos, much love and respect
That is one hell of a comparison. Not sure I'd consider myself up with Max. I do tend to be a bit slow in and fast out kind of guy. But I like to ride the edge mid corner.
youd be happy to hear that the matchmaking actually works now! It's not perfect and sometime during the day its hard to find a good race, but its definitely better now. Might wanna try again Also, get well
It has been getting better, especially it seems in terms of safety. It's still not catching the fastest guys and putting them together, and part of the problem is how you can join at any time instead of it sorting everyone out all at once. I'm still regularly 1-2 seconds a lap faster than everyone in the lobby. And I'm not the best driver. I've actually raced with some fast guys and from discussion know that the faster guys are a second or so a lap faster than me. So there still isn't a true top split.
It's important to know when it starts over rotating. If it over rotates when the front tire hits the curb, raise the front bump and maybe raise the front anti=roll center. If it happens when the rear tire hits the curbs, lower the rear bump and maybe lower the Accel Diff. Lower the rear anti roll may help a bit too.
I do have a Road America tune for this one, but found the Suzuka version works fine there as well. I was doing a 2:03.998, making this car 3rd, but had the deltas for a 2:03.8. That being said, I was experimenting with a pro NSX tune, and that car went from 2:04.0 to 2:03.5 with the delta for 2:03.3, which would make it my fastest car around Road America. That being said, the Audi is likely capable of 2:03.0 with a revisit to that tune at Road America.
NO NEED to apoligize! We, who have been here for "minute", WILL UNDERSTAND your time away, getting better! We should expect, from time to time, that things might not be going so well forya, and that we will be here for YOU, when you get back! THANKS for your dedication to us, and this NEW setup! NOW..... GIT'TA FEELIN' BETTER!!! ;)
Raising the front roll center helps. I think mine is about 2. I also tendto run the ARAbs around 32/22 and aero I'll run evenfor the most part or only slightly higher in the front or slightly higher in the rear on some tracks. Probably the only car where I'm not running almost full front and minimum rear aero.
it is interesting the AMG is a bit snappy in FM considering it is like that too in ACC. The rivals thing on Forza man is the track rubber is a lot lower in rivals than hopper, you would have to do a lot of laps in rivals to create more of it. Also wish you the best hope you feel better soon and get to race sometime as a humble ACC player getting into FM lately
I think in rivals it's the fuel load, because I don't struggle with the Merc in at low rubber levels in multiplayer. It seems to get more unstable at high fuel loads which is always max in rivals.
Hey man I hope you’re doing okay! Just wanted to let you know that I miss the content but totally get why you’re not making any. I hope everything is going good, stay strong brotha!
I'm doing OK right now. Didn't get the best news today, but I'm getting by. I'm working on a project to get get into graduate school. I do plan to make a video when I'm done to give an update on my health, discuss suspension geometry, and give my thoughts on the current state of the game.
In my humble opinion you should never reveal your whole tune setup, it takes a while to tune cars and people will never learn to tune their driving style, your other video shows exactly how to tune your car and you explain everything really good thanks for the knowledge!
I'm sorry to hear about your cancer. Hope all turns in your favor. And I know why the goat now. I hate the screaming. But I now understand I'm toothless as well have been for shit 15 yrs.
Brother...I'm so sorry to hear about your fight with cancer. From another veteran that's going through a medical retirement for my own issues, just know I'm truly sorry to hear this. Stay strong and kick ass as long as you can.
Noooooo, we all hope you do well, you will be 100% soon. Thank you for everything you’ve done
ur awsome dude we believe in you

I really like your Tunes and your videos. would you be willing to do a video on the LMP cars that just joined multiplayer?

Yeah, saw you in P1R and I was like, I know that guy!
Please get well soon Jon.
Hello Mr Burnham I wish you get to feeling more like yourself thank you for the great videos I hope you have a great day and all the best to you and your family.Take care coz we care from adi
Was in a road America race with you just now. You got pole in a Ford gt in the wet. Then the race bugged out and I got black screen of doom. Gutted
When you take the AMG into the GT spec races, the PI goes up. Is that due to tire width upgrade?
All the GT cars are upgraded, or downgraded in mnay cases. The Merc is weird, because it gets tires and race brakes, which would put the PI at 833, but for some reason they upgrade to race brakes that lowers the weight 74 pounds, and then they add 71 pounds to the Merc. It's weird.

@@Kaylos29 whenever my friends/teammates are playing, I usually hit their lobbies, so it's DEFINITELY better than it used to be
rear slides when i hit the inside curb. what should i change?

If it happens when the rear tire hits the curbs, lower the rear bump and maybe lower the Accel Diff. Lower the rear anti roll may help a bit too.
Can you do all your test on road America so as new cars come out we can compare them to the bigger ranking list you made

That's the plan. I'm hoping to fight again as well (martial sport), but doing it competitively again may be bridge too far.
