Gary, have you thought about using the aluminum tape on the underside of the bus to patch the holes from there? It's really looking good as you work your way through the process!

Maybe since the sheep got out, one of the alpaca knew the other sheep needed protection until everything got straitened out. Alpaca are pretty protective

My next door neighbor's chickens keep coming over in my yard so I've got to get that fixed they're getting through their fence.
My guardian livestock dog help me getting the chicken back over onto there side of fence.

Thank you for helping folks who are recovering from tornadoes with some chickens. We had some bad flooding a good 15 years or more ago and a number of small dairy farmers through subsistance farmers lost most to all of thier livestock down tomthe chickens. Farmers from the region worked to help replace what live stock they could spare as infrastructure came back on goard to support the donations.
See everyone Gary doesn’t do everything, Cassie does know what to do on a farm! LOL. You did a great job getting all the animals back to where they were supposed to be Cassie! Hope you and Mazzie have a wonderful time at church camp! The bus is looking good thanks for sharing all the steps in the transformation!❤

Cassie get in good with your local grocery store and see about getting their left over veggies that they throw away. My husband gets a lot of our chickens greens from ours, especially during the winter.

If you don't like it, think you can do better, then good on you!!" I really loved your, Chug, chug, chug... ahhhhh!!! When my Papaw drank, anything, he'd always do the Aahhhhh!!! Since I thought he was better than soda pop and a bag of chips, I'd mimic everything he did. He was Texas born, married my Mamaw, an Okie from Selina/Celina, and raised my mom, who was 3 when he met my Mamaw, but nobody better ever say she wasn't his!! ❤

Wonderful job fixing the chaos Cassie. Love when naysayers are proven wrong that make such dumb statements. RE: Cassie does not do anything on the farm. We just do not always witness all the farming chores you do help with, as you also have so much to do with LB. You both, Cassie and Gary, are a great team as a married couple, parents of 3 beautiful children, foster parents, farmers, and united IN CHRIST JESUS! Love you all bunches from hot, humid, slight storm damaged west-central Minnesota. You all have done a very nice job on the "skoolie".
Gary, I would suggest putting some of the tape on the bottom side of the holes. That way water from the roads and dampness from it sitting will not wet the tape. Just a suggestion. Cannot wait to see the final version of your camper. 😊

At least it’s daylight. Great job Cassie. Our hog got out the night we picked our son up at the airport. The three of us trying to get him in the pen with just the full moon. He’s lucky his date with the butcher was close.

Not that this has to do with your chickens - -but a while back you all were discussing Sun Tea - - so I ordered a jar and made some - - it is 94 today in WV and man does that taste good -- will say it's been at least 10 years since I've had any. Thanks for reminding about Sun Tea.
We made some too, really enjoyed it.
You can core amd slice those sweet peppers length wise in about 1/2 wide strips then freeze them in a resealable sandwich baggie. They will be good enough for dicing adding to salads, eggs, and diced or chipped potatoes for a good month; tney cam be slightly finer cross cut and added to kernal corn too. Between the start of month 2 and and the end of month 3 they get progressively softer but are fine in well cooked dishes like cassroles until they are soup or stew ready.

Cassie, I was always told that onions are bad for chickens.
No, chickens should not eat onions because they contain sulfur compounds that can be toxic to chickens over time. Symptoms of onion toxicity include:
Digestive upset
Lethargy
Anemia
Pale comb and wattles
Decreased egg production
Sudden death
Having them once a year is totally fine. Google says a lot of things 😉

My dad had a long wire and bent a hook on the end to catch chickens. He could reach through the flock and catch a certain chicken and not disturb the others very much. Iy was a heavy wire that was stiff.

Lived in the Tennessee hills, early teenage years…hogs got out..THAT was a mess. We got them back..good thing they like food…there was 7 of us growing up, so it was all hands on deck 😂.
