Note:
If you won’t wear lenses too frequently, I suggest getting the daily lenses. Otherwise buy the monthly lenses. I wouldn’t recommend yearly lenses for beginners as it can contaminate easily.
Always wash hands before putting lenses on and off.
Lay down a clean towel on your lap to prevent contamination incase the lens falls.
Increase daily usage of lens slowly and don’t wear it for too long during the first few days.
Incase the lens causes dry eyes, use eye drops.
Change the lens liquid every week.
Use good quality and renowned name lenses only.
My suggestions: Baush and Lomb, Aqualens, TTDEYE, Vision Marketplace and any other renowned brands.

optician here !! change contact solution daily. buy a new contact case every 3 months. also NEVER wear in water, swimming showers etc! awful bacteria can sit in ur eye!! also to remove it watch a video on youtube as a visual experience is better! learning how to insert and remove is hard at first but it’s like riding a bike :)

Diameter does matter. If you are a first time user, go for smaller diameter
