Okay, I'm Leaving

Keep in mind, I'm zooming a lot with my handycam (not smartphone). It appears I'm closer than I am. Even still, the bear wanted me to back up. So I did! The person asking if these bears are harmless caught me off guard. I was filming and didn't want to talk. My response was not competely accurate. I later told him they (these city bears) are mostly harmless, but even that depends how smart and cautious you are. They are not grizzlies, so you're not on their menu. At the same time, thoughh, they're big and wild. Give them their space. Don't approach them. Back away if they bluff-charge. Don't feed them. Be alert if you're walking on trash day.
