I have a problem with my 2007 Mustang V6. When I brake, the rpm of my car suddenly increases from 500 rpm to 1000 rpm, moments later, the rpm returns to normal.
Will this problem be related to any failure or lack of maintenance of the acceleration body ???

I was pulling 02 sensor codes and emissions codes. Super rough idol and no acceleration. Sprayed the Maf sensor and she runs like new

When I had plenty of time, I took mine off and cleaned it completely. Easier with it off to reach everywhere and clean all the gunk off.

I assume ya'll are talking about the throttle body. Does it just bolt off for easy cleaning?

Yes, it's easy to remove the throttle body - take off the air tube (screwdriver), then disconnect the electrical connectors on each side of the throttle body, then remove the 4 nuts holding the throttle body onto the intake manifold. Pulls right off. Keep track of the gasket - it can be reused. With the throttle body off, you can clean it much easier.
