I like the OE Brembo best. The Miata is very well balance, every thing mates perfect. Once mods are done it throws things off balance. Can't just do one thing and expect good results. WIth the brakes best to go with the curve vane to cool.
They squaek when they are cold, because they are smaller when they are cold and bigger when they are heated. When they are cold and small they manage to vibrate in the caliper when force is applied. And that vibration is so fast so it make that high pitch squeak
Really appreciate your honesty about the 2500's. Hey, I was also disappointed by Brembo pads. OE pads were better on my 911.

I choose pagid rs29 pads for My car since about 10 years.
Simply fantastic!!!!!
Its very good when cold, umbeliveble when warm.
