the 3 holes for mounting a waterbottle holder is so that you can mount it higher and use the third hole for the swat storage box. but then you need to use thenspecialized bottleholder i think. i use it to carry all required tools. and a co2 inflator.

Nice build, I started with the comp for the wheels n fork, and it’s full XT now, and being an XL it’s just barely under 29#, but I’m already oogling a set of hunt xc race wheel that should get me down another pound and change so here’s to another $500🤣, but the stock wheels can go on my daughters bike for when we do xc rides, and keep her other set for chunkier stuff.
But I love mine, how was your first ride on yours?

I think the MRP 1X SV chain guide made for the epic will work on the Chisel FS in that threaded pivot. Nice bike!
