Why havent they gone in a studio a made a song together I know john has played guitar solos on eds songs but like that would be so cool!

1:38:55 this guy in the audience has a musicians ears. The moment the first chord was strummed, he knew SDIABR was the song being played. Love this video. And whoever you are, who filmed this, you’re awesome
I think the guy saw Ed pressing C#m chord. SDIABR is starts with C#m, I think that's why he knew it. And its not hard to recognizing some chords by ears, it's kind of a popluar chord in songs.
@@gametravis8892 Sure. Just like Em, Am, A, B, D, Dm... The normal listener definately could not differ a Am from a C#m by hearing and barely by looking at the fretboard of a guitar. He either is a huge Mayer fan or is a musician himself.

It must be me. I've played guitar going on 45+ years now, and l love almost all music, but either one of these two guys do anything for me at all . I can't explain it I'm glad ya all love them so much it's what makes our world beautiful we all can't be the same that would suck .
I'm not as much of a fan of John or Ed's acoustic stuff. I'm more of a JM fan but only really love his older electric blues stuff and now appreciate all his other work. But I get it.. It's not for everyone. John is probably still my favourite musician of all time though.
I've noticed John's playing Gravity less and less these days. A close to perfect set for that size performance though, what a great selection. Love Ed's Parting Glass too, what a treat.
