I've heard John play many, many live versions of "Belief" the song that he opened this concert with, since, oh around 2005 or 2006... In this version, he's playing it with a PRS guitar. Most all the other versions I've heard or seen him play it has been with his black Fender Strat, "The Black One", or his Jimmy Hendrix "Monterey Pop" edition Fender Strat. Just feels, or sounds, like "Something's Missing". He's still amazing, but it's not quite the same performance without the Fender Strats... Just doesn't sound quite the same. Only notice it in particular, on this song.

I was at the second LA show last year and I remember just how excited I was to be there and experience this legend’s music live! Even took home a little keychain souvenir which I almost never buy from anywhere. This video brought me back there, and it’s sheer bliss. Thank you for letting me relive that night again, especially at a time like now when I’ve been forced to stay indoors the past several months without even seeing any friends. This is one of those things that I think will help me keep my sanity these next few months, and I hope you know this project, however tedious and difficult it may have been to put together, means a lot to so many people. I know it does to me. ❤️

As fantastic as "Where the Light Is" live CD is, there has been so much more great new music released since then and crying out for another double live cd release. The 2017 and 2019 live tours show how much exposure the daily changing setlists gave many songs. Obviously John is flat out with Solo and Dead & Company tours so he hasn't had a breather to really spend time on it. I hope he recorded a lot of his 2017 & 2019 from the soundboard for someone to go through, if not himself.
John Mayer publicly freaking out for 4 seconds thinking he started the wrong song when the band sings him happy birthday was a birthday present to us all. Purely hilarious!

This is such a beautiful piece of art you and the community have created. Watching this elicits some kind of emotion that I can't quite describe but I know nothing else can elicit. I'm not sure if it's the inspiration because I'm a musician, or admiration for the pure genius that is John's work, or the pure beauty of seeing the world through a touring musician's eyes. It's the wild thing about John's music and ideas, he just does that to all of us, it's why we're all fans.
I figured out what I have. Then later after growing up with no parents or support I realized what I had. That is now long gone. Appreciate the people around you as you get older. You won’t but maybe hearing it again will make you finally do it. Cause a lot of people have talent and could be something amazing in this world but good luck doing it all alone. As an old man I promise you that’s the one thing that is a fact in this world. Anyone that says they did it all alone is leaving out a lot of the story.
Hi well Mad Mike0082 I’m young 82 Also grew up mostly alone but all along the way angels in human form looked out for me After being alone now mum of 4 Grand mum of 6 Great grandma of 6 Everyone loves and cares for me Thanks for the reminder Bless you

I hope he comes to UK in 2022. I've never seen him live. Going by this great watch it's top of my list of things I need to do and see and hear and be part of at least once in my life. John is incredible. Makes me an emotional wreck at times . Rest of the time it's just being in awe of the quality of the music/ songs / guitar playing which he produces . There's other artists I listen to and love but John is the only one who switches my head, heart and soul on as soon as I hear him. It's amazing to experience. So grateful John.
When it comes to John's music, I find myself listening to live versions more than studio ones, so Thank you so much for this, really well done and it actually feels like you're listening to a live concert not a youtube video. I probably listened to the first and second volume about 10 times by now and I don't think I'm gonna stop anytime soon. Can't wait to listen to the 3rd and 4th volumes !

I can now see every amazing moment that I was so sad to miss, I only wish I could give you some money as compensation for the gift you’ve given me. So generous to put this up for free AND on top of that to include dl links for audio and video, bless your soul. Please put a link in bio for somewhere we can donate and contribute cause I know many of us would love to use our wallets to give you a warm thank you for this incredible gift.

The endurance and wait is finally over.... We can't thank you enough for making this! :)
Awakens pure joy, bliss and comfort. Thank you for sharing.
This is absolutely astounding! Thank you so much for all of the unimaginably hard work you undoubtedly put into this, you are truly a legend :') from the bottom of one John Mayer fan's heart to another, thank you
You're welcome! I'm happy you liked it. :)
Love you john you are truly an Angle sent. Hearing you sends my blues away. At least for today. Love you J.😇😘
Brings me back !!! I was at concert in Ohio and let me tell you when dear Marie came on the energy in the whole stadium was ELECTRIC!! 🔥❤️❤️ best night ever !
How any music fan could listen to that solo during that SDIABR performance and not be incredibly impressed is beyond me. Mayer plays with a ton of feel
Wow, just finished watching. The work gone into this is absolutely insane! Not to mention the audio!!! Cleanest concert audio I’ve heard. Thank you for this!!!
Bro, thanks for this gift to all the fans of John. We have to appreciate the effort and time that you put for the edition of this video.
He is extremely talented!!! A beautiful soul
Man this is one of the biggest gifts I recently got, thank you so much for putting this here!
You're welcome! The pleasure's mine. I'm happy you liked it. :)
How am I not paying for this.....?
Thank you so much for this! Helped me to think about something else instead of my ex! One love
My pleasure! Glad you liked it. :)
Woah!!!! I can only imagine the ungodly amount of work this would have taken. All your blood sweat n tears that you put into this project is evident ⭐❤️❤️
Cheers Ichhit! Thank you for giving the best gift to all us Mayerheads🔥❤️
This means a lot. Really appreciate it! Glad you like it. :)
@@ichhitjoshi396 YOU ARE AMAZING!
That ending solo on changing... MY LORD
I hope so too. :)
Yes. We need something new again.
I was lucky to see him live and this feels like being there for the second time. Thank you for your effort! I guess it just feels like... ;)
You're welcome. I'm happy you liked it. :)
To the fans who stitched this together -- thank you for this colossal gift

Why does this video not have more views? Incredible performances and audio. Thank you for posting.
I just have to say again.... thank you for this. I’m shortening curtains hemmed by hand takes ages so this perfect 👌
So I already watched the livestream...and now i’m watching it again lol. Thank you so much for this 👏🏼
I'm glad you liked it!! :)
the solo starting at 2:21:30 is why this guy talent is one of a kind and stand with all the guitar legends of our time.
Hi well Mad Mike0082
I’m young 82
Also grew up mostly alone but all along the way angels in human form looked out for me
After being alone now mum of 4
Grand mum of 6
Great grandma of 6
Everyone loves and cares for me
Thanks for the reminder
Bless you
I love the banters!
Thank you thank you thank you. So happy to experience this tour again in this way.
You're welcome. I'm happy you liked it. :)
John Clayton...once again you have completely out done yourself. Miss seeing you and your amazing band live. "Im drunk again remembering what used to be."
Midway through the Guess I just feel like solo, he goes into a Black Muddy River solo lick, it's insane. 1:42:45
