Awesome video. It was a bit chilly yesterday but entirely worth staying around for the great catches
It was very chilly indeed, steam at night is a whole different experience though
@@cedarvalleyrail8419 will they use the 8419 on the Christmas trains?
@@rudycarlson8245Likely not. Although it would be really cool.
@@rudycarlson8245 We've talked about doing it. Water is the biggest hurdle. All of the water used in 8419 is softened and treated.
@@spencervaughn5906 are you part of the 8419 crew?
Great catches and nice video
I would say that the 8419 has had an easy life have been on the bone and scenic Valley. It’s whole life.
Glad 8419 is back in service after a long absence.@5:29 the Des Moines River looks really dry. It’s almost as bad as Louisiana
Nice video!
8419 return to steam
I literally jumped when I saw the info lol
10:26 How did you get to that spot?19:15 And that one?
Great video and how were you able to walk down to the high bridge?
any idea why they shoved back the trains on the first day of it being back? after watching all the videos i still dont know why
My special needs son and I have heard that it is because the switch at Fraser needs repairs.
It’s the siding. No way to run the engines around the consist.
@@PositivelyNegativeOfficial do you know what happened to it?
@@trainking79 The Fraser passing track has been out of service for several years. There is flood damage on that track that has taken a low priority to main line repairs.
Why is 8419 not doing tender first this time
