Last Year I thought of buying Iphone 15 pro max... I was all set to purchase it on EMI ofcourse.... Suddenly I don't know what came into my mind, I thought rather than buying it on full EMI, I should do a RD of 10,000 each month and after 6-7 months I'll buy it with 60-70k cash. Its almost july, I've saved around 90k coz of that RD and now I don't want to pay this much money for a phone. I mean i was ready to pay 10k EMI, but now spending 90k saved money on a phone seems utter illogical. EMI is such a scam, it makes you believe what you are not.

I can just say that with my indian salary I can buy iPhone without any loan/Emi from an expensive city like HK but cannot buy it from india (As the indian price was 1.39L)

Apart of me every person earns 1.75 ~ 2.45 L pm with exp same as me and none of us are from even tier 2 clgs. Sometimes I even feel bad that I earn less than most folks out there.

To be very honest the best thing that happened in my life was breakup when I was 21. Since then I have been inclined towards spirituality and I am reading/grasping knowledge. I learnt that hard but its been 3 years and I see around and feel 'everything happens for good' is so real.
I use to hear money doesn't buy happiness and I used to say it can buy stuffs that can make me happy, but I experience now what it meant.

I’ve been earning in 6figures and younger bro is still in clg. He was asking 2nd hand iphone so I asked him to wait so I get new one and will hand over my ip to him. But he didn’t have patience to wait and end ip buying it and now regretting it.
After 3-4 months i asked him what’s the ip benefits him after purchasing and he don’t have no answer and want a new one bcaz he got bored of it.
Similarly people around me expect some material which don’t make any sense and sometimes i feel the peer pressure that others are buying and I’m not.
My current ip is 4yr old, mayb I’ll buy 16pro this year which can survive next 5 years.

Shwetabh bhai first of all, I've been watching you since 2020( the main channel), You've helped a lot in the past so thank you for that. But, the main thing I want to say is the statement you said about you can't enjoy in the your old age is wrong I completely agree, I've moved to Germany for my masters and I went for a skating marathon and I saw a lot of old people like 50, 60 year old men, women and they were skating way better than me and where I completed half marathon they did it fully. That's when my actual perspective about this was change.

I have an another angle to this issue, i have purchased Samsung S23 which is of 55k on no cost EMI. I have sufficient money to purchase it on cash but i thought buy it on EMI because if in future i required some money then i can use it but if i purchased phone on cash i am spending lumpsum money. I think what i have done is right and i see many people around me doing this only. Lets see in comments what opinion people have on my views.
