It's easy to throw a few compliments in someones direction when you don't nor will you ever have to deal with that person's situation. The best you can do is be honest so they can understand their situation and work with the tools they were given in life.

The vast majority of people cannot understand beyond their own experiences. Also, if you want to see why others are mean based on how you look, read into the Halo Effect and then catch yourself subconsciously demonstrating it. That’s it, those two understandings will bring you far more peace than venting to people that cannot fathom your problems due to a lack of lived experience.
I have this problem also. In my case for some reason I have very hard time making friends and as I have grown up I also wish like others to have female friends and maybe one day to have my own family. I like to talk and listen to others as well but more like one on one or maybe two on one but others don't want that. I am 24 friendless and obviously no love life if I can't even make friends.

I always tell if your look is the best thing you can provide to your future partner? Being ugly is like playing life on hard mode especially if you are living in culture where everything revolve around physical beauty. It's worse for people who are ugly and live in delussion on their attractivness or having unrealistic expectations on their partner. And hey you can still play on your values, morals or similar interests.

I absolutely love the sound of your voice and I love seeing your videos!!! I'm ugly, but I just don't care, and the minute I stopped caring I stopped getting treated like an ugly person, even though I am uglier now than I was when I was targeted and treated bad for being ugly. As soon as you can fully stop caring, most of the bad treatment will go away because people can sense that it will not bother you, so only the worst people will keep trying to tear you apart. The main reason people target you as ugly is you believe you are ugly. People can sense the insecurity and the fact you see your self as ugly and that's why they attack. They will also do the same if you are beautiful, but they will do it to try to tear you down for knowing you are not ugly. Beautiful people are also seen as a prize/treasure to be stolen and used and abused, so sometimes they really do have it worse since they are sexualized and targeted and used in that way as well as all the other abuse for knowing they are not ugly.
Natural beauty is always the best. So many people distorting their looks to what they think will make them look better, BUT it honestly in a lot of cases makes them look worse. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ❤

I really enjoy listening to you, thanks for keeping on with the videos. Unfortunately it's true that attractive people get treated better than those who are considered unattractive. There have been many studies showing this, even down to who will help someone who pretends to collapse in the street - attractive people will receive more help/attention. I've been on both sides of the attractiveness scale throughout my life so far. I was an average child, then an ugly teen (acne, bad hair etc, bullied about my looks for the whole of high school). Then at around 18 I started using makeup and fixed my hair and suddenly I was considered attractive. Started being hit on frequently and was treated so much better by everyone I came into contact with, it felt incredible and I had so much confidence for the first time. It felt powerful. Now I'm 40 and due to some botched dental work at 30 when my face/smile changed massively, I look gaunt (lost all my facial fat) and my teeth stick out and look too large for my face. I'd say I'm now unattractive, maybe plain at most. And the difference in how people receive me is striking. I feel ignored and invisible most of the time, nobody goes out of their way for you anymore or greets you in the same way, it's completely different. It's almost like some people feel annoyed to have to interact with you at all because you're not good to look at. So what you say is true unfortunately. It's the way humans are wired and it's incredibly unfair! We can only work on building our characters, trying to be better people and staying as healthy as we possibly can. That said, like others have been telling you, you are not ugly. I really wish I looked like you! Wishing you all the luck in the world on your path to recovery from BDD. It makes these kinds of thoughts so much more intense but you are a strong person and you will keep improving ❤ Take care.

I like listening to your videos. You make sense to me. All my life I've watched how pretty women are treated compared to myself. Little things like people stopping to hold a door for a pretty lady when I've rarely experienced it. Or people bothering to remember your name. I stopped.going out when I realised people talk to you at pubs to suss out their chance with your friends (it sucks being approached as the ugly/unimportant friend to make introductions). And then there are the people who have no dramas giving their advice in public. Nothing quite like being told by a total stranger that you should put more effort into your appearance or if you lost weight you'd look reasonable. My pretty friends never copped that shit. I try to just keep remember that the only opinions that are worth anything are those of people who love and care about me. But deep down I think everyone wants to feel even a little bit beautiful.
Girl... you really are cute, symmetrical face, good skin, strong jawline. You dont even need makeup to look pretty. if you want to look better you could try a little blush and soft lipstick, maybe face framing bangs, good clothes (warm autumn colors look good on you imo for example this tshirt you have on in this video looks really good on you) if you dont wanna change anything then dont you still look really good and have fun stop carying about what people think. It is by being undesirable in the eyes of others that one learns about the true nature of people; if you were desirable and reasonably popular you would be inside, thus wouldn’t have the vantage point to have an outsider’s perspective of the people surrounding you. Whereas if you’re undesirable you are on the outside and those on the inside treat you and look at you with contempt, it is then that you learn just how shallow and cruel people are, something which those who are accepted by the mainstream are oblivious of.

Being attractive or beautiful just isn't looks. It includes looks and how you present yourself as a person like your mannerisms. Your overall character combined with how you look is what determines attractiveness. What some may deem attractive, others may not. It all depends on the individual person and their preferences. I personally think you look cute and can be a beautiful person. It's ok to want to look good and want to impress other people, but most importantly you should be doing it because it's what you want to do for yourself to make yourself happy. If it makes you happy to exude beauty or look good in general, that's what is most important.
IMPORTANT: consider that your issues (body dysmorphia) are actually rooted in traumatic experiences and rejection at an early age. Maybe some issues with your parents? (emotional unavailability) and all of that has manifested through an obsession with your looks because your mind is trying to rationalize it. So rather than trying to “look Better” maybe you should focus on healing from those wounds and i think everything will eventually get better. Idk :)
It do be like that genetic determinism is brutal especially these days with edits filters etc now people don't even care to get to know/care for each other if you don't meet thier looks/status treshhold. Now as a woman you can still make life doable as a man it's straight up GG no prospects, often mocked in the open since none cares about men’s issues as they’re seen as utility, people assume the worst in you “ horn effect”women straight up dispise your existence so no luck in romance or any social life “ it’s over “ then after looking things up realise It never even began.

I feel for you. I really do. However, you can't be oblivious to all the comments telling you how pretty you are/ that you're not ugly. I know you have to "feel beautiful" to think you are "beautiful" but don't be so hard on yourself. You may not think you're attractive, you just may not be your type. That doesn't mean you aren't someone else's. One thing I can say is, repeatedly stating how ugly you are/ saying how much you hate being ugly is not an attractive trait in itself. I mean this constructively, not to be rude. You can be "traditionally unattractive" and still attract others if you have an attractive attitude. Confidence is attractive. Knowing who you are is attractive. The inverse is also true. "Traditionally attractive" people can become ugly if their personality/ attitude is ugly. Being yourself and confident will 100% of the time be more attractive than trying to be what you think others want you to be
People online are usually overly nice, so I take that into account. It’s usually either out of pity or because they want to cheer me up. Which is fine, but that’s the reason why I try to be realistic about my looks.

I know I'm not the most attractive person, and deep within my being, I'm neither kind nor compassionate, which makes me even more unattractive and detestable. I'm an odious individual who lacks consideration for others, who takes advantage of those in their weaknesses. I've hurt people very badly before, both physically and mentally. Nonetheless, a day came when I finally grew repugnant of my behaviour. I never considered myself to be good; I never will be, for no one is good except for God. The best thing I can do to avoid being the crappy person that I am is to reflect the love and mercies He has shewn towards me upon others. I am a heinous person, but I have the chance not to be anymore through Him.
You need to get over the idea that you are not attractive. I think the idea is really hurting you. I imagine you push people away without knowing it, you probably tighten up when a guy makes an approach and he then changes his mind. He takes your stiffness as non-interest. The idea is hurting you. I'm older now but if I were in my 20's I'd be very interested in you. You need to put the whole idea of being unattractive aside. If you want to talk about the idea, that's one thing. But to apply it to yourself, is just wrong. And it is a little sad. Because the days do pass. Don't waste them.
I would rate myself a 4/10 ( low tier normie )and being 28 yo , yeah when you are not above average or beautiful , life feels very heavy , you can fulfill the basic life need like going to work to get money to eat food , but you are not enjoying life like couple do , taking pics together going to some forest or naturale place enjoying time with someone who you feel attracted to and who is attracted to you in both physical and personal side , you feel like an old soul that is thrown on earth, thats why as soon as i get the money for i will go for surgery

'Nobody wants to be ugly' - well I do NOW at least, after years of being treated like subhuman or ghost. There's this wonderful psychological mechanism that makes your wishes compatible with current reality and I just learned how to abuse it as I see fit. I really hate to be the person that says “bUt YoUr ReAlLy PrEtTy” but you are cute & that does say a lot about the world today. Most of it is because of social media, we literally see WAYYYY to many 10s & 9s on a daily basis, more than what we’re supposed to be be seeings. That those Gorgeous people (which are a minority really) become the new standard. It’s sad because it changes the order of things & we don’t see the worthiness in averageness & we always think we can do better if we can get in a relationship with a cute/above average person (like you). honestly, to me, you don't look ugly. you have that natural beauty look. Allahumma baarik (in my religion it means: may God bless you). Sometimes I feel insecure about my nose but then I remember: if I had small nose like a post-nose job celebrity/influencer, I would not be me. God has made us all different in facial structures, proportions and skin colors. The problem in this world is that society plays with our insecurity to get money from us (e.g. buy beauty products) or make themselves feel better by making us insecure. There is a verse in the Qur'an that states ''it is not the eyes that are blind but the heart''. When I remember my past self getting called ugly, I remember this verse. You're conventionally attractive looking to me. Even if I'm being super objective and honest with you, which I imagine is what you want, you certainly are many leagues above the ugliest you can get. I want you to really understand that I'm not even saying that as like a "You go girl! Yeah!" fake sort of confidence booster. You actually are pretty objectively. The way that light shines on your cheekbones is one of the evidences of that. Understand that people with a wandering eye are exploiting their own attractiveness. This is so relateable. I too have BDD ans even though im married and dont ask i get unsolicited opinions and comments on my looks. If i have opinions online or thoughts, im dismissed because im in my 30s and women "past their prime" are probably bitter ugly feminists... that or im told im too old to be spending time in an online community. Ive been called old and mid so many times by strangers its disgusting . Women get so disrespected if we are not 10/10 I get zero respect in society especially as i get older. Its hard because i used to be hot. And treated like a god in my early 20s.

Physical attractive features of course make someone especially us men notice and treat people differently and there’s more to a person than their appearance in fact I’ve had a relationship with someone who was highly physically attractive in my eyes but had a terrible personality, lied, and was generally a bad bad person and so that wasn’t good. Now you, on the other hand are a very beautiful person with attractive facial features and though you say what others say doesn’t impact you because it’s not in line with your subjective experience in reality, my comment is genuine. That said, I don’t know your personality or behaviours, habits and that to me is the other half of what builds attraction in my mind anyway. I’m not that attractive as a man that I don’t even want to feature in my own music video I’m working on. How attractive someone is will only hold the kind of person who cheats for so long... You know you're not in the bottom 10 or 20% - don't fish for compliments, it's worse than being in the bottom 10-20%. Edit: in person people judge more than just looks, also your personality and demeanor. If people are treating you weird, it's because you're acting weird. For one, holding and playing with a stuffed animal - how old are you?

You may not get bullied for being attractive, but people will be mean to you. They’ll want to “take you down a peg” or think that it’s ok to treat you poorly because you’re just an object, or they might be jealous. People just treat others poorly in general and it’s unfortunate. Also, you have wonderful conventionally attractive features! Small nose and forehead, defined jaw, big eyes, healthy looking straight hair, you’re skinny. I would love to have such features. I have to spend so much time every day trying to achieve what you have naturally 😅 If you chose to invest more into beauty, makeup, personal care, etc. you would be unstoppable. Unfortunately, in our world today, beauty is like a part time job. It takes a lot of time and money.

Hey, just wanted to say I think I totally get what you're saying, I've been going through serious insomnia and and covid, long covid, has really made that worse for me. I wonder if the lack of sleep also leads to racing thoughts like this. I also have a RUclips channel which I'm putting my heart and soul into and really want to turn into something. Currently I do have a failing video that I wish was doing better and when I really have exhausted all other ideas for why it is, in circumstances like that I consistently turn to is it because I'm ugly, is my room ugly, does the thumbnail look like shit, the audio, the camera, and I go through this whole thing of appearances and am I living up to this invisible standard of what RUclips viewers want to see. I hope one day that I do, just for the thrill of being able to say I'm good at this one thing in my life and it was worth the lack of sleep, worry, and effort. The lack of sleep and the perseveration go hand in hand I think, it's all the same circle. Anyway, you are very attractive, just like I hope (and have been told my many) that despite all appearances and other factors, I can write well.
You are not treated differently because of your physical appearance, it's because of your attitude and the general aura you are projecting. It is visible even through the video. You are in a self feeding loop where you are treated "poorly" and that makes your self worth go down, and that hit to your self esteem in turn makes you behave with that attitude, which again feeds into people percieving you a certain way. How to break it? trust in you and your self love. Little by little, until you actually start to realize that loop. At some point the loop will go the other way.

The vast majority of people cannot understand beyond their own experiences. Also, if you want to see why others are mean based on how you look, read into the Halo Effect and then catch yourself subconsciously demonstrating it. That’s it, those two understandings will bring you far more peace than venting to people that cannot fathom your problems due to a lack of lived experience.
I have this problem also. In my case for some reason I have very hard time making friends and as I have grown up I also wish like others to have female friends and maybe one day to have my own family. I like to talk and listen to others as well but more like one on one or maybe two on one but others don't want that. I am 24 friendless and obviously no love life if I can't even make friends.

I always tell if your look is the best thing you can provide to your future partner? Being ugly is like playing life on hard mode especially if you are living in culture where everything revolve around physical beauty. It's worse for people who are ugly and live in delussion on their attractivness or having unrealistic expectations on their partner. And hey you can still play on your values, morals or similar interests.

I absolutely love the sound of your voice and I love seeing your videos!!! I'm ugly, but I just don't care, and the minute I stopped caring I stopped getting treated like an ugly person, even though I am uglier now than I was when I was targeted and treated bad for being ugly. As soon as you can fully stop caring, most of the bad treatment will go away because people can sense that it will not bother you, so only the worst people will keep trying to tear you apart.
The main reason people target you as ugly is you believe you are ugly. People can sense the insecurity and the fact you see your self as ugly and that's why they attack. They will also do the same if you are beautiful, but they will do it to try to tear you down for knowing you are not ugly. Beautiful people are also seen as a prize/treasure to be stolen and used and abused, so sometimes they really do have it worse since they are sexualized and targeted and used in that way as well as all the other abuse for knowing they are not ugly.
Natural beauty is always the best. So many people distorting their looks to what they think will make them look better, BUT it honestly in a lot of cases makes them look worse. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ❤

Unfortunately it's true that attractive people get treated better than those who are considered unattractive. There have been many studies showing this, even down to who will help someone who pretends to collapse in the street - attractive people will receive more help/attention.
I've been on both sides of the attractiveness scale throughout my life so far. I was an average child, then an ugly teen (acne, bad hair etc, bullied about my looks for the whole of high school). Then at around 18 I started using makeup and fixed my hair and suddenly I was considered attractive. Started being hit on frequently and was treated so much better by everyone I came into contact with, it felt incredible and I had so much confidence for the first time. It felt powerful.
Now I'm 40 and due to some botched dental work at 30 when my face/smile changed massively, I look gaunt (lost all my facial fat) and my teeth stick out and look too large for my face. I'd say I'm now unattractive, maybe plain at most. And the difference in how people receive me is striking. I feel ignored and invisible most of the time, nobody goes out of their way for you anymore or greets you in the same way, it's completely different. It's almost like some people feel annoyed to have to interact with you at all because you're not good to look at.
So what you say is true unfortunately. It's the way humans are wired and it's incredibly unfair! We can only work on building our characters, trying to be better people and staying as healthy as we possibly can.
That said, like others have been telling you, you are not ugly. I really wish I looked like you!

All my life I've watched how pretty women are treated compared to myself.
Little things like people stopping to hold a door for a pretty lady when I've rarely experienced it. Or people bothering to remember your name.
I stopped.going out when I realised people talk to you at pubs to suss out their chance with your friends (it sucks being approached as the ugly/unimportant friend to make introductions).
And then there are the people who have no dramas giving their advice in public. Nothing quite like being told by a total stranger that you should put more effort into your appearance or if you lost weight you'd look reasonable. My pretty friends never copped that shit.
I try to just keep remember that the only opinions that are worth anything are those of people who love and care about me. But deep down I think everyone wants to feel even a little bit beautiful.

It is by being undesirable in the eyes of others that one learns about the true nature of people; if you were desirable and reasonably popular you would be inside, thus wouldn’t have the vantage point to have an outsider’s perspective of the people surrounding you. It’s so hard for me to convince myself that I’m the one he’s thinking about or I’m the one that someone genuinely thinks that i am pretty. Being attractive or beautiful just isn't looks. It includes looks and how you present yourself as a person like your mannerisms. Your overall character combined with how you look is what determines attractiveness. What some may deem attractive, others may not. It all depends on the individual person and their preferences. I personally think you look cute and can be a beautiful person. It's ok to want to look good and want to impress other people, but most importantly you should be doing it because it's what you want to do for yourself to make yourself happy. If it makes you happy to exude beauty or look good in general, that's what is most important.
IMPORTANT: consider that your issues (body dysmorphia) are actually rooted in traumatic experiences and rejection at an early age. Maybe some issues with your parents? (emotional unavailability) and all of that has manifested through an obsession with your looks because your mind is trying to rationalize it. So rather than trying to “look Better” maybe you should focus on healing from those wounds and i think everything will eventually get better. Idk :)
It do be like that genetic determinism is brutal especially these days with edits filters etc now people don't even care to get to know/care for each other if you don't meet thier looks/status treshhold. Now as a woman you can still make life doable as a man it's straight up GG no prospects, often mocked in the open since none cares about men’s issues as they’re seen as utility, people assume the worst in you “ horn effect”women straight up dispise your existence so no luck in romance or any social life “ it’s over “ then after looking things up realise It never even began.

I notice that even though men have it harder when it comes to dating overall, women have it harder in terms of getting judged for their appearance alone.
I feel for you. I really do. However, you can't be oblivious to all the comments telling you how pretty you are/ that you're not ugly.
I know you have to "feel beautiful" to think you are "beautiful" but don't be so hard on yourself.
You may not think you're attractive, you just may not be your type. That doesn't mean you aren't someone else's.
One thing I can say is, repeatedly stating how ugly you are/ saying how much you hate being ugly is not an attractive trait in itself. I mean this constructively, not to be rude.
You can be "traditionally unattractive" and still attract others if you have an attractive attitude. Confidence is attractive. Knowing who you are is attractive. The inverse is also true.
"Traditionally attractive" people can become ugly if their personality/ attitude is ugly.
Being yourself and confident will 100% of the time be more attractive than trying to be what you think others want you to be
People online are usually overly nice, so I take that into account. It’s usually either out of pity or because they want to cheer me up. Which is fine, but that’s the reason why I try to be realistic about my looks.

I know I'm not the most attractive person, and deep within my being, I'm neither kind nor compassionate, which makes me even more unattractive and detestable. I'm an odious individual who lacks consideration for others, who takes advantage of those in their weaknesses. I've hurt people very badly before, both physically and mentally. Nonetheless, a day came when I finally grew repugnant of my behaviour. I never considered myself to be good; I never will be, for no one is good except for God. The best thing I can do to avoid being the crappy person that I am is to reflect the love and mercies He has shewn towards me upon others. I am a heinous person, but I have the chance not to be anymore through Him.
You need to get over the idea that you are not attractive. I think the idea is really hurting you. I imagine you push people away without knowing it, you probably tighten up when a guy makes an approach and he then changes his mind. He takes your stiffness as non-interest. The idea is hurting you. I'm older now but if I were in my 20's I'd be very interested in you. You need to put the whole idea of being unattractive aside. If you want to talk about the idea, that's one thing. But to apply it to yourself, is just wrong. And it is a little sad. Because the days do pass. Don't waste them.

I would rate myself a 4/10 ( low tier normie )and being 28 yo , yeah when you are not above average or beautiful , life feels very heavy , you can fulfill the basic life need like going to work to get money to eat food , but you are not enjoying life like couple do , taking pics together going to some forest or naturale place enjoying time with someone who you feel attracted to and who is attracted to you in both physical and personal side , you feel like an old soul that is thrown on earth, thats why as soon as i get the money for i will go for surgery

I really hate to be the person that says “bUt YoUr ReAlLy PrEtTy” but you are cute & that does say a lot about the world today. Most of it is because of social media, we literally see WAYYYY to many 10s & 9s on a daily basis, more than what we’re supposed to be be seeings. That those Gorgeous people (which are a minority really) become the new standard. It’s sad because it changes the order of things & we don’t see the worthiness in averageness & we always think we can do better if we can get in a relationship with a cute/above average person (like you). But I hate when people really try to down play the impact that being visually appealing brings into your life, if you were beautiful this wouldn’t have to prove your value as human your would just have to show that you have depth but the funny thing about that is that MOST PEOPLE don’t really value depth that just idolize what you look likes because it “looks” like more that what it really is.. idk if that makes sense 💀

hiii idk if your ever gonna read this but your not ugly, makeup, hair, clothing plays a big part in making someone physically attractive, and as a girl, you have fuller lips, a good nose and facial structure,long healthy hair, get a sense of style, wear mascara, get a pretty lip combo, idk if this will make you feel better, but just try it, maybe you feel like more than you have been for once. most people who look like they’re not trying or they’re just “naturally beautiful” are probably putting in more effort than you can imagine. i love u ❤

honestly, to me, you don't look ugly. you have that natural beauty look. Allahumma baarik (in my religion it means: may God bless you). Sometimes I feel insecure about my nose but then I remember: if I had small nose like a post-nose job celebrity/influencer, I would not be me. God has made us all different in facial structures, proportions and skin colors. The problem in this world is that society plays with our insecurity to get money from us (e.g. buy beauty products) or make themselves feel better by making us insecure. There is a verse in the Qur'an that states ''it is not the eyes that are blind but the heart''. When I remember my past self getting called ugly, I remember this verse. You're conventionally attractive looking to me. Even if I'm being super objective and honest with you, which I imagine is what you want, you certainly are many leagues above the ugliest you can get. I want you to really understand that I'm not even saying that as like a "You go girl! Yeah!" fake sort of confidence booster. You actually are pretty objectively. The way that light shines on your cheekbones is one of the evidences of that. Understand that people with a wandering eye are exploiting their own attractiveness. How could one look ugly? Granted, I wish I had a better jawline, nice teeth, wasn't so skinny, and maybe I'm going bald. I hate myself for the fact that I will always want more from myself so that the others around me will accept me. High School caused many of these thoughts, and your videos have shown me that. Additionally, I had depression and anxiety, which didn't favor anything. All to say, I have changed, and you will to. This is so relateable. I too have BDD ans even though im married and dont ask i get unsolicited opinions and comments on my looks. If i have opinions online or thoughts, im dismissed because im in my 30s and women "past their prime" are probably bitter ugly feminists... that or im told im too old to be spending time in an online community. Ive been called old and mid so many times by strangers its disgusting . Women get so disrespected if we are not 10/10

Physical attractive features of course make someone especially us men notice and treat people differently and there’s more to a person than their appearance in fact I’ve had a relationship with someone who was highly physically attractive in my eyes but had a terrible personality, lied, and was generally a bad bad person and so that wasn’t good. Now you, on the other hand are a very beautiful person with attractive facial features and though you say what others say doesn’t impact you because it’s not in line with your subjective experience in reality, my comment is genuine. You may not get bullied for being attractive, but people will be mean to you. They’ll want to “take you down a peg” or think that it’s ok to treat you poorly because you’re just an object, or they might be jealous. People just treat others poorly in general and it’s unfortunate.
Also, you have wonderful conventionally attractive features! Small nose and forehead, defined jaw, big eyes, healthy looking straight hair, you’re skinny. I would love to have such features. I have to spend so much time every day trying to achieve what you have naturally 😅 If you chose to invest more into beauty, makeup, personal care, etc. you would be unstoppable. I have pretty much realized that I am not a 10/10, but maybe a very good 7/10. Before, I felt like a 5. But others claimed I was too good looking to be single, somehow being an 8 or 10 to them. My point!!? You might feel “ugly” but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and they might disagree and see you as a 9 or 10. (Like me, personally.)

Hey, just wanted to say I think I totally get what you're saying, I've been going through serious insomnia and and covid, long covid, has really made that worse for me. I wonder if the lack of sleep also leads to racing thoughts like this. I also have a RUclips channel which I'm putting my heart and soul into and really want to turn into something. Currently I do have a failing video that I wish was doing better and when I really have exhausted all other ideas for why it is, in circumstances like that I consistently turn to is it because I'm ugly, is my room ugly, does the thumbnail look like shit, the audio, the camera, and I go through this whole thing of appearances and am I living up to this invisible standard of what RUclips viewers want to see. I hope one day that I do, just for the thrill of being able to say I'm good at this one thing in my life and it was worth the lack of sleep, worry, and effort. The lack of sleep and the perseveration go hand in hand I think, it's all the same circle. Anyway, you are very attractive, just like I hope (and have been told my many) that despite all appearances and other factors, I can write well.
You are not treated differently because of your physical appearance, it's because of your attitude and the general aura you are projecting. It is visible even through the video.
You are in a self feeding loop where you are treated "poorly" and that makes your self worth go down, and that hit to your self esteem in turn makes you behave with that attitude, which again feeds into people percieving you a certain way.
How to break it? trust in you and your self love. Little by little, until you actually start to realize that loop. At some point the loop will go the other way.
