I am in “LUST”. Wonderful. I have the Focal Solo 6 be ( s) and can only “ just imagine”!! If I had your money (lol) this is the way I would go! If I may add, removing the glass top coffee table will improve the sound!

Good review. I found putting iso acoustic feet on my utopia mastreos helped the overall sound presentation.

thinking to get myself a pair to replace the sopra 1 for the naim 500 series
only problem is they are going to be close to the wall and the only upside is that i got my room treated on almost all areas.
Hello, this is scala utopia but why they call utopia iii ? is this scala v1, v2 or v3 ?

Thanks for the review on these focal's. I have a set of use scala's coming that is first generation (2013). I'm wondering what the difference is between your speakers and the ones I'll be getting maybe crossover design I'm not sure what else or even what sound difference would be. interesting to know be hard to tell without both set of speakers in the same room though.

the spec. sheet is very unclear. When it says Net Wt. 85Kg, are they talking about 1 speaker or the entire pair in weight?
That is each! Very hard to put the spikes on.
@@TimothyJFLd realistically, what's the break down in weight inside? what components sucks up so much wt.? compares to say an average pair of 3 way?
@@HappyHopping11 the drivers have heavy magnets but mainly it’ll be the wood construction. There are RUclips factory tours of Focal that may help. The original Utopia used lead! I think the largest were around 200kg
@@TimothyJFLd I'll have a look. And thank you for that review. I like Beryllium more than B&W diamond tweeter. I actually have went to the local Focal dealer and listen to this pair. For female vocal, I cannot tell a difference this vs. my M-Audio M3-8. But for the music in the background, there is a noticeable difference.
