- I'm So Excited
Tonight`s the night we`re gonna make it happen,
Tonight we`ll put all other things aside.
Give in this time and show me some affection,
We`re going for those pleasures in the night.
I want to love you, feel you,
Wrap myself around you.
I want to squeeze you, please you,
I just can`t get enough,
And if you move real slow,
I`ll let it go.
I`m so excited,
And I just can`t hide it,
I`m about to lose control
And I think I like it.
I`m so excited,
And I just can`t hide it,
And I know, I know, I know, I know
I know I want you, want you.
We shouldn`t even think about tomorrow,
Sweet memories will last a long long time.
We`ll have a good time baby don`t you worry,
And if we`re still playing around boy that`s just fine.
Let`s get excited,
And we just can`t hide it,
I`m about to lose control and I think I like it.
I`m so excited,
And I just can`t hide it,
And I know, I know, I know, I know
I know I want you, want you.
This is without a doubt one of the best live performances of any song ever.

Totally agree. Goodness this is fire!
Much too fast, IMO
Completely agree - amazing performance even still now - WOW
@@lesleywhittle8673
Yah, it seems like yesterday..!
Real singers, real music players. No autotune. That's class... 😎🎼👌🎉
This shit is why autotune is probably invented.. Screaming like freaks 4mins and thinking they did a good job.. 4 minutes out of tune here my god
@@nitroplitvice I personally think they killed it. They have such a soultry and vibrant sound and I wouldn’t call it singing but I do think they have strong voices. And you may not enjoy that but millions love it and come to love performances like these. She was hitting such great notes throughout the performance
@@nitroplitvice Sure was a big crowd of thousands there that disagree with you lol
4 minutes yes, but that's some heavy vocals to carry on throughout. Most singers would be out of breath 1 minute in trying to sing that chorus over and over. 😊
Great music. These ladies are fantastic musicians.
@@michaelognibene4070 exactly!
I love ❤️ this song, the energy these ladies have, they are so amazing. Love ❤️ The Pointer Sisters, they are great song writers and singers, harmonies are bang on, high energy, you can’t help but clap 👏 and sing 🎶 along with them. 🥰
Claro si
Very good sound, fantastic!
The people who attended this live performance got the experience of a lifetime. Full orchestra, great pianist, amazing voices and energy. Pointer Sisters are magnificent. Wow... just wow!!!
FreedomForce100 💯% CORRECT
JUST MAGNIFICENT PERFORMANCE FROM START TO FINISH
im so jealous of everyone who could be there
and the great pianist was...John Miles
It was extraordinary! I think this video is from the performance at Sportspaleis (near Antwerp). I was at one of the concerts at Ahoy stadium in Rotterdam... an unforgettable night... fabulous sound in the hall!
Totally Agree, the energy is just overwhelming
Played this on my phone.
It CHARGED the battery.
LOL !!!!!!! Good one !!!
I tought it was a joke, 'til i test it!
Comment always makes me smile😊😊😊
I can go off grid by having this on repeat... perpetual motion right there..-. hehehehehe
LOL....that's pretty good!
This is hands down one of the best live performances ever!
It’s electric
It should be, it was one of the last of the original trio so at this point they had been doing it for around a 1/4 century already. As someone who has grown up in literally THE CHANGE from real bands and orchestras playing concerts to to all electronics and just a singer and dancers being on stage the orchestra wins EVERYTIME. There is just something about the people on stage playing the actual noted that adds to the actual electricity being produced amongst the people. It's better. I've watched things degrade over the yrs unfortunately. Last REAL CONCERT I can say I went to where it was all people and a bands playing etc was OZ FEST 2001. 2001!!!!!!!! It's a shame tbh
The younger sister was replaced by Ruth’s daughter even here..
Just as good in 2024 😊
Justo hoy
Nothing will ever replace the look and most importantly the sound of an orchestra! Real musicians playing real instruments..
Dan Butler: well said !!! 👌
The conductor looks like he'd rather be somewhere else. Same with the pianist with the corny Jerry Lee Lewis chromatic flatulence. An empty song that needs to be pumped up to cover up with inanity.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@michael69040 That's strange, the audience loved it and the ppl commenting. These women have sold millions of records and featured on soundtracks. They're sitting on millions while you're sitting on your tiny little nuts in misery and negativity. Mentioning flatulence, you sound so pathetic.
@@michael69040 Go to bed. Maybe you'll feel better tomorrow....
Watched this so many times. Never felt the need to make a comment because everyone else has. So what can I add ? How about this. BRILLIANT !!!
I agree 😅
Im in front of the computer, and I'M CLAPPING!!
This is one of the best live performances ever. Pure energy flowing in that stage.
I second this. hell yeah!
We must be reminded how LEGENDARY the Pointer Sisters are
This is one of the best live version of any song I have ever heard .
Same. It blows me away. Every. Time.
@@jeffcubeta For real.
ANITA, RUTH, JUNE, BONNIE. THERE WAS NO NEW ONE. RUTH POINTER IS THE ONLY LIVING SIBLING AS OF MARCH 2023
Did I hear USA USA at the very end ! Wow
Everything about this performance is perfection: the sisters, the orchestra, the arrangement, the audience and their energy!!! I wish I was there
Big props to whoever was responsible for putting the video together. The camera shots and how they're put together is every bit as good as the performance itself.
It makes me wonder if this video was taken from the live TV broadcast itself, or if they took all the footage from all the cameras and assembled it afterwards to show each section/musician during their best moments. It seems like whoever did all the camera changes knew the piece really well and knew exactly when to show what camera angles. It’s superb. If this was taken right from the live TV broadcast, there must’ve been some planning of camera angles and coordination with the music beforehand, because I doubt there’s any way any broadcast could’ve achieved this great of a video doing the camera changes on the spot live.
That piano solo has got to be one of the most iconic and memorable solos of all time! And it’s the absolute BOMB!
Damn, the piano solo is out of this world.👌👌
Hello - yes it is very good - but this one is a hell of a player: ruclips.net/video/vCSUwH50GHs/видео.html Have fun :-) Music from Hagen, Germany :-) Recommended: 05:00
I love that solo so much
John Miles.
Im a 16 years old boy who loves rock and metal..... But i FUCKING LOVE DISCO MUSIC..... Thumbs up if you are like me
Technically, this isn't disco, which crashed & burned about 1979. This song was on their 1984 album. They started in the disco era (and obviously that influenced their later music), but this is more accurately described as 1980s pop. However you label it, these ladies gave us great music.
100% 80s pop.
alexandros sotiropoulos The best music ever!
It's all labels. You pick the music that you like to listen to and listen to it. It really doesn't matter what label someone else put on it, if you like it. The only thing labels should do is to give you a clue on how to find more like it.
Wow Wow Wow. This is what true singing talent is, none of today's garbage music.
Real singers, real music players. No auto-tune. That's class...in its perfection...extremely...
One of the best vocals in concert ever !!!!
Absolutely, and they are sexy with their clothson
you know, honestly, as singers age, they just cant "sing it like they used to", except THESE LADIES! Holy crap they just rocked that shit out like it was 30 years ago! OUTSTANDING!
Fucking amazing!!! #Respect
Mike Akers I know right!!! 👍🏽😊👍🏽

To be fair, are all of these the original singers?
@@popland1977 The lead singer, Anita and her sister, Ruth are original members. Issa (Ruth's daughter) filled in for June because baby sister was not in a good place at that time (issues with drugs and such). Both Anita and Ruth had to make the hardest decision of letting baby sister June go (out of the group) because she wouldn't want to seek (and be serious about it) professional help. June eventually passed away in 2006. RIP June! You are dearly missed.
In memory of Anita Pointer. (2022). I think this is the performance Anita did after being told her daughter was n the hospital battling cancer.
Just a word to define this performance: PERFECTION!!
Not as regards the filming - on the contrary; one of the worst ever.
How can you not get up and dance to this
this is how it's done, people. there's just no other way.
amen
exactly !!!! 👌
Agreed
Que energía maravillosa!
So good 🎵🎶🎶🎶💖💟💖💟💖
She's rocking the crowd. I just love her. She's the best, Mrs. Anita my favorite Pointer sister 💚👑
Which one is your favourite Pointer Sister?
I Absolutely Love all of the Pointer Sisters...I'm not Bias. ❤
WOOOOOW!!! Now THAT is how you rock a stage!!! Absolutely fantastic performance! The energy in that stadium had to be just through the roof when that performance happened in 2002. Unfortunately they don't make music like this anymore. No one knows how to rock a stage like this these days.
the best
so true i hope someone will bring back this kind of music that will surely dance on their feet and take a groove . but now its like twerk like miley ..
Exactlyyyyyyy!!!!!!
Where was this ? That crowd was huge !
I'm blown away! Always loved the pointer sisters ❤ but never saw this before!
What a powerful voice at 3:57 ... that even earrings dropped to the floor!
Good eye . Watched this well over 100 times and never caught the the earring drop. Now I'll never miss that again.
@MannySVK OMG, what Good Eyes...I had to go back a few times to see that one!⚡️⚘️
Another level... this is a REAL performance. Thanks
I'm stunned. Nothing else to say.
me too
Agreed! Jesus H.Christ! I'm flabbergasted!
Totally agree! I heard them once in Stockholm at a street festival. Outdoors, minimal stage, much smaller crowd but still the same amazing energy and sound. A memory for life!!
@@cayenneman08 sorry they are much bigger than, Jesus H.Christ....Or who might that be?
You said good Bro.
I'm 19 years old so I wasn't even born when this song came out, but I am absolutely in love with it. The energy of it really makes me want to dance and the piano solo gets me into another dimention. And this performance is phenomenal
You have no idea how happy i was to find this song first time in first home internet ...
Now you're 20
The song is actually much older then 20 years... 😅😅This is from the night of the proms. A concert festival that takes pop music but accompanied by a classical concert group.
Way back early 1983 when I heard this disco fever hit song
That's because modern music sucks so any good older song sounds even better
I am a gospel artist, but I have to say this is maybe the best live performances l have ever seen!
They grown up with gospel😊
This is Gospel! Joy, God's grace and gift!!
Even the musicians are dancing.
R.I.P. Anita Pointer. We lost her on 12/31/22.
😢
lead singer is an absolute ace
Anita!
Love the Pointers, but Anita for some reason was always my favorite. Believe she has now retired.
@@funguykel I agree.....Anita was my Favourite in a fantastic group...
Anita has always been a Ace!!
Her voice has something special in it, she's got one of those one in a 100 years kinda voices. I find it great shame that she's got no more recognition.
take a look on piano player take a look on drums player damn they are enjoying what they are singing.... they smile.... that's the best thing you can see in a concert... if EVERYBODY are happy you got the result
+Rosanna Gaban I agree
I agree with you
Also I think the piano player is John miles :D
Pia P. It is john miles. Played in Tina Turner's band
Love the drumstick twirl just before the clap part 😻😻😻
Rip Anita 🙏 your music has ment so much to me. I listened and danced to you and your sisters from a kid. Now that I am in my 40s, I will continue to sing along and dance. Thank God for blessing us to witness your talent.
Every single person in that stadium is loving life. What a performance 🔥 Even the orchestra is rocking 😂
They just blew the roof off. So much energy from the performers and the audience. Amazing!!
For the new generations......this is the absolute beauty of 80s music.....learn from it.....
I have always loved the amazing Pointer Sisters!! Amazing happiness in the 80s!! Anita and Ruth wrote this song!! God bless June and Bonnie in heaven! Sending love to you all!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️💋
Impressive, magnificent, the orchestra, the chorus, everything was stunning.

This performance shook me to the core!!!!! You can hear the gospel undertones. Bravo ladies!!!!
Why can I only like a video once. This deserves a million gazillion likes
The ladies killed it as per usual. Best performance of this song. Issa did a fabulous job as an honorary pointer!
Thanks for That ........I noticed one sister was new ............YES ..she did GrEAT
So I have a little fun fact. I always loved them because my mom and my aunts would always play their music as I was a young boy in the 80's.
But I especially knew them for this song being in National Lampoon's Vacation which I loved. So at my elementary school in the 4th grade, one day randomly while we were in class, the principal announced that The Pointer Sisters had arrived to sing a song about good school attendance. I lit up with excitement. The other kids were stupid and didn't realize the honor of what was happening lol. It was a short and cute song about the importance of being at school everyday. I remember telling my mom that the Pointer Sisters had performed a song at our school through the intercom. Thank you ladies for the lovely memories your music brought me. ☺️❤
WOW! Bloody awesome!! 😍 Never saw this video. They were my jam as a teenager back in the 80s.
I watched this performance and it charged my phone ⚡️
Nice line
What a fantastic performance! I've loved this song since the first time I heard it on the radio in the 80's. Sad that some of these ladies have passed from our world already.
Great song, great showmanship ❤
Everything about this performance is perfect, they absolutely nailed it.! The energy is utterly infectious, I can't stop watching it!
The Sisters outstanding as usual BUT the Orchestra OMG !!! The director how could he stand still with all that beat???
The girls before they die...❤❤❤rip pointer sister.

No auto tune here people just pure black gospel of pure fantastic vocals all 3 so in sync and sound amazing
I love the pointer sisters Neutron Dance for Beverly hills Cop is one of my fave hits. Look even the orchestra is getting in on the song some even stand up
Really such a fantastic live performance
I do feel sorry for the people with that bright white light on them though was a awful place to stand
Im watching this over and over. Check the musichans, how much fun they have. What a firework of joy
My God!!!! What a high Octane performance!!! Superb musicianship all around.
Absolutely amazing pointers sisters forever !!!! ❤️ The face on 1:16 is how a musician most look, enjoying with his soul the music that plays, awesome!
Never listened to this in the 80's. Now 40 years later this song brings back a whole different kind of energy.
Sad to hear of Anita's passing. Thank you for all of the great music. This was an awesome performance!

bruh wth im BLOWN AWAY BY THIS PERFORMANCE.
Their mama and papa must have been so proud of their girls! Fabulous performance!
Probably the best live performance ever
I have more goosebumps than there are people in this crowd. So much talent compressed in one song. I am young and there is no nostalgia speaking here. Just a very very very good song
1:20 loved the violinist! really enjoying it!
I loved the pianist
1:50 and 3:09 she is still rockin'. She does not care is she is a member of an orchestra, *it's her jam* .
Just an amazing live performance.

They got older and better! Great performance!
1:20 loved the violinist! really enjoying it!
Actually she’s playing the viola… but pretty similar :)
Aside from The Pointer Sisters those two are surely rocking to the song.
1:50 the viola lady is still rockin'!!!
I literally got up in the middle of this and and danced like I was there. What in the world just happened? lol This is what you call real music, real talent, real professional and the best. Been one of my favorite songs since it came out.
Night at the proms has thrown out so many fantastic performances, John Miles & Music and Donna Summer Mcarthur park are 2 of the best live performances you will ever see.
An explosion of love and life. Music is everything. Thank you, sisters, for this unforgettable experience.
Them lady’s still have it amazing ❤️this song will never ever get old 💯💯💯💯💯💯
Gotta admit that I was shocked just how GOOD they sounded after so long & our old mate John Miles on the piano 😀
Real artists, awesome voices, amazing musicians.
They got older and better! Great performance!
Sing it Anita, sing it!! Well, if this performance doesn't give you goosebumps, nothing will. Simply mesmerising!!
I Can’t Believe The Ladies Are Not In The Rock& Roll Hall Of Fame
Me neither! The Pointer Sisters gave great music for years! And they're not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame? That's outrageous! They have hits for years!
@@MrSevere51 - They are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Flames. What induction could truly honor these ladies and especially this song?
@Talos Hmm.."Yes we can can", "Fire", "Fairytale", "Jump", "Slow hand", "He's so shy", "Automatic " or my favorite "Happiness " The talented ladies from Oakland, California earned their induction to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame along with the Spinners and the Commodores🎶🎶
Excellent music...
I’m always excited every time I hear them sing. So excited.
4 min goosebumps all over.... that's what missing today soul and fire... everything is so cool and calculated, programmed and styled to death.... even todays r&b...
Having listened to this live version so many times it's untrue, but every time it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Being a pro musician myself, it is great to see the pure enjoyment on all those musicians faces that are truly in the zone and loving every minute. Cherish these moments as they don't come along that often.
Absolutely love your comment. "Live is good!"
yes when you see the musicians singing and moving along to it as they are playing !
@@ewalker3 It's all an act.
They are appalled that the Pointer Sisters are having to hard sell what is basically a lame song. They were told to look "engaged".
@@michael69040or, you know, maybe they were actually enjoying what they were playing… did that possibility ever occur to you? Are you even a musician?
