...pretty much self-explanatory... The Pointer Sisters were known for their tight harmonies, blending into 1 voice. The magic can not be heard or felt with the 2nd and 3rd generation of Pointers.And Of course, no one can blame Anita for quitting due to health issues, but the magic is gone. IMO
@phillycheez6288 Not to me. You probably just don't like Ruth's voice type as much, but she's still there. Her range is beyond rare for a woman, to be appreciated, even Michael Jackson said Ruth, "has the most unique voice outta the sisters" 🔥
@@blackheartbev3098 Bonnie was gone for a while when that title arrived on the chart. She wasn't anymore with the group when they had their biggest hits. Ruth is a great contralto singer.
@@popland1977 i know that there is one original member, but she does not have the same voice and sometimes i think it is time to let a famous group go when two thirds of the original members have gone.
But it is not the only group that continues without an original members. It can't be the same without the golden voices of June and Anita but people and fans have the chance to see one of the original again or at least, for the younger, maybe for the first time.
