    Great video and story.
I feel sorry for the crew in the last tiger to be betrayed by a local in that manner.
The tank men in these tigers certainly gave a good account for themselves and the dedication of those factory workers is also something that deserves recognition. Well done on them.
Interesting that the night-shift wasn't as productive. Was that due to manning levels or bombing raids etc?
Thanks for the great video 🙂👍

Application of camo patterns was usually done in the factories late in the war, so could you specifiy on that "octopus" camo a bit more, please ? Was there only olive green (on "sand yellow") used ? Or was there also red-brown ? Most of the pictures let me believe it was only one secondary color
That said, there were no special orders in which style the camo pattern was to apply, just a regulation on how many % of the tank's surface had to be covered in secondary colors. (seems the Henschel workers pulled one out especially for modellers).
Camo colors are very hard to tell from b/w pictures and the method of application as well as the thinners they used varied greatly. That makes the same base colors look differently from photo to photo. Throw in the aging process of the photos themselves, and you have a riddle hidden in a mystery ...

Your videos are incredibly awesome. However you need an ending, in other words a sign off at the end of the videos. Something like “thanks for watching be sure to subscribe and hit the bell for notifications”

German term 'Kassel' was used for the Stalingrad pocket when created in Nov 1942 by the Red Army in Op.Uranus.

You are of course, incorrect. The correct word is KESSEL. That means cauldron in German.

They differ in only one letter, but their faith was much similar.
At the end, for Germans was it a war to preserve the mainstream mindset?

Very Educational Video on a topic on one knows anything about . I find it very interesting. Wonder why the Nazis painted the Tigers Tank's like a Octopus?

    • @ottovonbismarck2443

I've never seen any evidence that Nazis were painting tanks like octopusses, though Hitler was a (talented !) painter. Factory workers applied camo colors. Some factory workers might have been slaves, and I highly doubt these were Nazis.
There were many Nazis, roughly 33%, in Germany, while 2/3 of the population were split between communists, social democrats, liberals and conservatives. Roughly.
Saying every German was a Nazi is like saying every American is an idiot. Both of which is not true.
My fathers family side was more on the Nazi side, my dad had just entered Hitler youth when the war ended (he was 10). He was a social democrat thoughout his life and always told me not to judge people from their outer appearance, be it skin color, cloths, religion or heritage.
My other grand dad was a coal miner and a social democrat. He - and many other ("Nazi"-)miners - smuggled extra rations to work to feed Russian POWs (slave laborers), who were starved to death.
Sooooo ... have you voted for Trump ? :-)
      Cheers mate !
