I have worked for Walmart for almost 11 years. My daughter 6 years. Thank you for sharing to use the app to look up the item to locate items in the store. I am always showing this to my customers and the scanner on the app. You can scan stuff sometimes and find it cheaper than the tag says. If the online price is cheaper than the store price Walmart will honor it but not if its a third party seller. Thank you for talking about our door greeters doing their jobs and stopping people with unbagged items.
My Walmart app says the store is not obligated to honor a lower price. I won’t even bother now.

Why not go ahead and order it online, instead of getting it from the store? I've had the same problem in my store, and I like getting things shipped to me free. I am a Walmart+ member, so I'm not required to have a total of $35 to get free shipping,, how easy is it to spend $35, right?
I've actually gone to Walmart and ended up purchasing my a majority of my purchase online. To qualify that, I am in a wheelchair, so it's difficult to get a large amount (or large item) home on the bus or with my transport company.

Loved the trip thru Walmart. However I'm in NYC so it's hard to access Walmart but when I'm feeling better I'll try to go. I have 2 take 3 buses to get there but it's worth it.
I use the grocery pick up on occasion and they shorted me a single item just once. It was very easy to let them know online that I had an issue. Within a few hours they had credited my card for the amount of the missing item. Just $2.36 but every little bit counts and I did appreciate the ease of reporting and the speed of the refund.
I love shopping at Walmart because I am disabled I do all of my shopping online and I never have any problems. The one tip I have is when you are buying small items like beads or earring-making supplies, check the amount you get in the bag, many times it's cheaper to buy 2 small packs rather than 1 big one.
I live exactly the same distance from three supercenters. None have returned to being open 24-hour. They have never carried the same things. The clearance aisles are normally just junk.

I've noticed the same in my Walmart clearance aisle, buy have found some amazing deals. I found a super cute cloth shower curtain that made 2 sets of window curtains for one of my niece's bedroom. I paid $2.00 for the shower curtain! You can't even buy enough material for that, and ½ the sewing was already done.
They’ve really been stepping it up the past couple of years. So many ordering options and their app is one of my favorite shopping apps.

I honestly shop at Walmart the most for everything i need or . . . want. I, too, have a budget because im on disability. So, i have found the quality and quantity of every Walmart brand to be exceptional. Much more bang for my buck.

I worked at Walmart for over 10 years, and you've told me things that I never knew. I used to shop almost every day after work. Sometimes, the dept managers would tell me about stuff that was coming out so I could keep an eye open for it. I like the summer plastics that come out in the spring, usually found in the seasonal right up front on the gm side. I also liked that same area for the stuff they put out for college kids in the fall.
Sometimes I would spend hours in there after work. Like I hadn't been in there enough that day. 😂

You are lucky there is no Walmart in New York city..and I try to order on line, we can't order the sale or dollar spot (you the really cheap items lol..keeping real) so, have fun for the rest of us who don't have a Walmart.😂

I love shopping online at Walmart, it has made my life so much easier. No walking through a crowded store, loading at the register, loading the car then unloading at home. As a senior it is a blessing to save gas and time. Love products and produce. Best of all is a $5.00 charge for under a 3 hour delivery which has arrived in less than an hour for needed items. ($35 min)👏👏👏👏

I enjoyed your video; it confirmed that I already do a lot of what you talked about. Bargain clearance shopping is my only superpower! One of my favorite Wal-Mart bargains several years ago was getting Christmas "bushes" for .75 each. I make a lot of silk flower arrangements/wreathes for my church bazaar and as raffle items for a group I belong to. It sure helped this retiree's crafting budget!

If you find something on the app, say it's $5 but in store it's $10, show the cashier the price on the app and you can get it cheaper

Plus check out the shirts for clearance. I found some shirts marked a dollar . Smurfs,mermaid. They were mens so u can get them in large sizes😊😊

The only downside to shopping early in the day is that they have very few clerks working. That has changed a bit since they have reduced self checkout.❤️
When I go to Walmart I like to go in the evening after 6:00 pm first it's not busy but I know never go on a weekend to busy for me 😞

The Walmart clothing lines have really stepped up! I have so many things that I wear from there and am asked where I got it. People are often shocked when I tell them an item is from Walmart. Another helpful tip: be careful using self-checkout. We had our bank account hacked in December and someone got our bank account from the self-checkout.
Oh no - I'm sorry to hear that! I'm wondering if someone put a skimmer on the machine? I had that happen to me at a gas station once, thank goodness it was a cc vs. my bank account.

I use the Walmart app for my shopping. I can add items during the week so I don’t forget something and if I can’t find it, it shows me what isle it’s on. Thanks for your tips.
Love all the tips. I bought most of my children's clothes from Walmart and my children are now grown. I have bought may items for myself as well. I have been shopping the men's t-shirts for year. I love the plain colored ones to sleep in. Cheaper than pjs. Love the men's graphic tees as well. They are less expensive and made bigger and don't have capped sleeves. i just watched this again🎉. Forgot to say last time that we have good taste!! We also have the barn door console table!! Ours is the shabby chic white. I love shopping Walmart as well. In store and online. I downloaded the app a few weeks ago and love it. Before, I would be going all over the store looking for specific items, now the app tells me right where to locate it. I also love that I can scan something for a correct price. There are 2 large walmart stores and a walmart neighborhood market here. They remodeled one store and it looks like target on the inside. I love that one because they expanded the craft section to 4 large aisles and it is usually well stocked. I find that I am actually saving money buying supplies from there versus dollar tree. I love the candle and wax melts as well. Thanks for sharing your tricks and tips.

I shop the men's section occasionally. When I had chemo & radiation it was suggested I wear comfy knit clothing. I paid almost 50% less for pants and tops.
I also love the produce. It's so much fresher than the local big chain grocery store.

I use my Walmart app all the time in our Walmarts!! We have two 9-10 miles in either direction. Recently there is word we may have one very cloae by soon. I wear the standard time and true tank tops all year around. They’re not too tight but not too flowy . They sort of skim over the body. They make excellent layering pieces too. It’s basically what I wear everyday. And they’re just under $5!

Walmart has stepped up the quality of their clothes. They also have the Free Assembly, BeachLunchLounge brands, and Sophia Vergara. A lot of items are 100% cotton or organic cotton. The quality of workmanship has improved too. I always check the Women’s and Juniors’ clothing departments now

I’m for sure a Wal Mart girl! I have a Better Homes & Gardens 12 cube shelf in my craft room and just this last week ordered another for my craft room, it was on sale and came with free next day shipping and it was here by 10:30 the next morning,easy to assemble, I add baskets to the cubbies so now I have lots more storage space in there. I love Wal Mart!

I lived in NYC until 3 years ago...I am now ALL about the Walmart experience! I, like you, am a "big" gal (when will they make a big & tall for women?!) and this is one of the FEW places I can find stuff for me...and don't get me started on craft supplies, I almost wept when I saw what my store had!!

I have Walmart + In Home and it is amazing! They will deliver my items and bring them inside! They put the cold stuff away and everything else is left neatly on my counter. They are Walmart employees that wear body cams. They are Walmart employees not third-party and they are all vetted and screened. If I’m not home, they will come in through my garage put everything away and leave the same way. I started this when I had multiple joint replacements in the same year and I have continued it because since I have chronic illnesses, it’s a huge help to not have to carry heavy things upstairs, and after losing my husband, I am now EBT and I can do that through the app as well

Loving the clearance in the craft section. Got cricket joy iron on for $1.00 each. Parachute clasps and strap adjusters for .50 each. I can use them making bags.

My Walmart is not so great. Constantly getting stuck in a aisle behind a bunch of workers just standing around talking to each other. They totally ignore you when trying to pass. Plus our pricing has gone up on a lot of items. This happens every week lately. It's put a bad taste in my mouth.

I love wal mart grocery pickup! Before i tried it i wasn't interested because i like to go in and look...and get stuff i dont need lol. So i use pickup all the time. Love the clearance aisles too!

Hi Whitney, thanks for the Walmart tips! Several years back i ordered a shadow box from a marketplace and it arrived with broken glass, i emailed the seller and they sent another one really time but the glass was broken on it also so i received a refund with no problems. I can still use them by having a piece of glass cut for them. But large and big ticket items i would prefer to have them come from Walmart just to avoid any incidents. Reading product reviews gets tiresome because it always seems some people have major issues that never get resolved, yet others say the seller resolved any issues very promptly and satisfactory.

I have found the best things in the clearance aisle. Those lower shelves have some great goodies that are not at eye level. I’m 5’10”, so I’m usually bending down to look.

The clearance clothing is great. You can get clothing cheaper than thrift stores. Just have to come in take your time to get the good deals. Time and Tru is my favorite brand much cheaper than Talbots stores same styles.
My suggestion is to check the craft aisle every time you stop in. They now have apple barrel sized Waverly chalk paints as well as a giant size of Waverly that is already on clearance from 12.97 to $9.97. A number of wood items and even floral on clearance. They aren't in the clearance aisle they are in the aisle where they usually are.

Whitney, some days I wish I lived in Illinois instead of Washington State. Your Dollar Tree and Walmart are so much better than mine plus you have 5 Below which we do not have. Thank you for all the tips plus letting me know that just because it came from Walmart is isn't going to fall apart the first time you wear it or use it.

I work in toys at Walmart we are at the end of a reset and every day items were marked down drastically. So if you go in and the crew are putting papers up on the shelves showing what will go there watch for prices to come down, they do mark downs on deleted items.
