In this video I will show you how to reform a new hook on a metal fish tape. Metal tapes are strong but occasionally do break so reforming a new hook is something electricians do all the time. Have fun Ron.

Hey good to hear from you guys! I was kind of surprised I did not see much out there on other websites on how to remake the bend. I have been wanting to get this one and the one on adding a leader for quite some time. Thanks for sharing Ron

Whenever I do this, the new hook breaks off much more easily, whether I quench it or not. Anyone have ideas?

We tell you not to quench it after reforming we will see if anyone else has a suggestion. Thanks Ron

Voomaam it is used to attach wires to for pulling them through conduit. I guess I need to do another quick video attaching the wires to the fish tape. Do you have a favorite way to do that? Ron
