Thank you for still being the person I voted for, seeing you fight, and fight with integrity has been the hope I have been looking for. As someone who has suffered illness for years, and medical gaslighting, I suffered longer than needed because of pharmaceutical companies that do not release generics for years so they can make money. It prevented me from being on medicine for fibromyalgia that actually helped have a better quality of life. I couldn't afford 600 a month. Thank you for the work you are doing for us citizens who needed some hope.
Saddest part is that we the people have paid for a majority of the research for these new medicines! But the pharmaceutical companies like the free money and still charge us top dollar! While other nations get the same drug much cheaper!!
How much money would American tax payer's save it it was mandated that these Pharmaceutical Companies would be required to pay a hefty percentage of 'profits' to social programs like Medicare and Medicaid. As it is, so many corporations see Government contracts and start giggling and rubbing their hands together.

Many people are not taking preventer inhalers because of the cost. Even generic Ventolin inhalers can cost $50 each where they are $5-$10 in Europe.
