- This is an updated Rainbow Six Siege Operator Tier List for Operation Steel Wave! See how my rankings have changed between this season and last season with the addition of Melusi and Ace!

A concept you could explore as a video would be a tier list based on how balanced you think operators are, to elaborate, operators most needing a buff could be nearer the top and those deserving of a nerf at the bottom with the most balanced operators in the middle, giving a pyramid shape. This would be a good way to explore the balancing of some operators and suggest how they could be more balanced.
That’s exactly what this tier list is basically. When you look at it, you could say S and A operators need a nerf or change, B to C is fine or just a bit of a buff, and D needs a significant nerf.
Can oryx please elbow drop a hatch like that one fuze meme and it would be so funny and amazing

Ferret45 first of all the smg 12 has the most insanse recoil ever so if your first shot is aimed at the head then ur okay but otherwise u just have to hope that the recoil will take u to victory. Second of all I’m a gold 1 and I actually run warden quite a bit. I like his shotgun pistol combo and the mpx is decent I’ll run it. His gadget is okay it could be better (like if there wasn’t a cool down similar to Jackals, and if u could immediately see through smoke instead of waiting for it to adjust). But usually in ranked I would prefer other ops over him.
You should make this a seasonal thing that you post around a month into the season so we kinda see what your opinions are on operators that season in a wrapped up way

I think this list is really accurate, but I personally think Finka should be in B tier, considering that the boost can allow your entire team to have an advantage to health, ADS speed, and recoil, allowing them to win a gunfight almost indefinitely if they don’t suck. And she gets to do this boost 3 times, it’s very good early game for frags and in late game for plants. And don’t forget her grenades :)

Nomad could honestly be an S tier operator. Her ARX and AK are both pretty good. Her pistols are okay, she has breach charges, she can counter flanks, deny disable, and she’s a 2 speed.
I wouldn't say her guns are pretty good. They're serviceable but the main point is her gadget. It's why she's so amazing. Deserves S tier

I’d say he’s one of the best roamers just cause he can come out of a gunfight being one shot to full health which is huge
@Saildail Gaming but he’s a three speed and he doesn’t bring enough utility as a defender. If you use 2 stims on yourself, you aren’t helping out your team enough. I think B tier is perfect
F1RE . OBJ I respect ur opinion but I don’t think 1 speed matters much when really ur trying to get and early kill and retreat back to site with full health is quite big. If your putting doc b Rook has to be b aswell since they’re both the same except doc is better for gunfights which makes him better
1 speed doesn't matter as much when defending.

I would probably lower thermite and mabye move hibbana up because in the meta there is no reason to play thermite, since ace guarantees a wall open as well as mav and hibbana is a must when opening hatches and making angles, her drawbacks being that most sites you don't have to worry about hatches and her gun has as much bullets as I'm worth

Hibana is not as useful as ace or thermite and shes much more situational. Thermite is 100% s tier

you can bring Ying instead of any flashbangs that are used to clear ADSes or Wamai magnets, she can just use it on a wall above the site like fuze, and 7 projectiles will drop, making it so you waste all ADSes and 1 magnet with just 1 candela
I think kaid is just as good or better than bandit in situations when thatcher is banned because of the fact that it’s much harder for mav to get his claw than bandits batteries so your only real threat is kali and you can easily trick a kali
KAID is better than bandit, just ban thatcher and you are good to go, bandit batteries are exposed to maverick and twitch and kali, but KAID's claws are versatile, placement is key. The AUG A3 is okey and it's similar to vigil K1A But the problem is it doesn't has the ACOG. And yeah the TCSG12 is really garbage right now and the .44mag is so bad so i think KAID need an ACOG on his AUG A3 or at least changing him to 2speed/2armor.
@@elmahdiaouam7249 you can bandit trick as bandit, kaids gadget takes too long to start up to prevent a thermite as he's placing the charge.
I think Iana is really good for post plant and Oryx will be a similar roamer to Mozzie was with the super shorty
He's also really good when there isn't a monty ban.
Note: Maverick does have a counter it's a c4!

I used to not like the Aug A2, i always used the MP5K on Wamai and the G8A1 on IQ. But lately I've figured out its power and can finally use IQ with confidence. I now side Main IQ, and get pretty good results. (I'm a console player btw)
This guy is actually the easiest to understand out of the other r6 tip creators. Most underrated siege content creator by far

idk if you making a bid about this any time but i've had some pretty good ideas about some really good new operators, Flank
This operator will be an attack, 2 speed 2 armor operator, she has the ability to cut lines of sight with a tarp, (this tarp is placable in door ways and windows only), this will protect you from flanks and also when walked threw by defenders, it will make a loud rustling sound, notifying nearby attackers.
Hydro
Hydro will be a 1 speed 3 armor operator, she will have a gadget that will completely take down reinforced hatches and walls turning walls into soft walls and completely annialate hatches, what she does is she puts a hydrolic lifter that will completely take down the reinforcement releasing from the wall and fold back into its original state when set up, the thing is i couldent figure out how it would work when the wall is reinforced the other way but she will be more meant for hatches. I dm'ed you about this operator ideas on insta
Why have "Flank" when we have nomad.
Her air jabs are loud enough and knock back the opponent.
Yes she blocks lines of sight but you can just put the air jab in a spot that prevents her from getting to the line of sight.
Alex .C the main use of flank will be to block lines of sights, your very right about nomad their very similar.

The only op I disagree with is iana, she is possibly the best roam clearer as her gadget is a lot more efficient at droning, she also has two fairly good guns, with acog, and her gadget is essentially unlimited intel. She has a strong presence in pro league for a reason, and she gets nades
ACOG should be a reason an operator is good or bad. Which is what confuses me when people say that the MP5 is trash on Oryx because of no ACOG but great on Rook/Doc because they have it. It is literally the same gun.
Brian Lugo I think the mp5 is a trash gun, but acog does give you an advantage at longer ranges so people would rather have an acog, the only good thing about the mp5 On rook and doc is the acog, but oryx doesn’t have that so it’s just a trash gun with no acog, rather than a trash gun With an acog
@@coreymacdonald9733 so in theory, would the UMP or M12 be better if they recycled on future ops that get the ACOG? It is only an attachment, it doesn't and shouldn't make the gun better or worse. Jäger, Bandit, and Maestro also lost ACOG and their weapon effectiveness has not changed.
@@brianlugo5995 thats subjective, id say about 70% of the community would disagree with that statement, thats like saying the c75 is a god tier gun, it has low recoil, high fire rate, high damage, just doesnt have 'the attachment' of a sight. therefore making the gun harder to use, same thing with acog, holo is harder to use at range therefore making the gun less viable.
If Hibana wasn't competing with Ace, she'd deserve S tier. But against a fellow hard breacher with the AK-12 and smokes, the only place she wins is with hatch play. Unless she gets at least a few more bullets in that 21 round mag, I won't be using her.
2:38 mute is basically thatcher on defense, makes sense that both are s tier
Regarding the speed of certain operators, I wanna justify why for some it's better the be tanky than speedy. You see, some operators really get no benefits from being stealthy. Gridlock is a great example here, because her trax can be heard from a mile away so everyone knows where hse is anyways. Being slower can be a downside, but if your team is rotating to the other side of the map mid round, that might in itself lose the round anyway. On the plus side, being able to soak 1 (or, in many cases, two) more bullets is a huge deal, especially assuming that both players are of equal skill. Now that limb shots do less damage, that difference is only larger as well.
You might say "it doesn't matter, a headshot is a ohko" and that might be true sometimes, but that is not how every gunfight in the game goes down - unless you're going up against some gamer god, in which case it wouldn't make a difference which op was brought in the first place.
I think the difference boils down to whether you wanna be stealthy or tanky.

I have a operator idea his name is Aóratos the Greek word for invisible. He is a 1 speed 3 armor defensive op that has three cloaks that make stuff invisible he could put them on frost mats Kapkans Grzmot mines Valk cams maestros and more. IQ could still detect the invisible cloak and gadget he has to place the cloak and not throw it. He could have the MP7 and the Spas 12 shotgun with lesions pistol. His gadgets could be a bulletproof Camera and impact grenades

Having invisible yokai drones is bad enough but having invisible gu mines, frost mats, Kapkan traps would be way too overpowered.

I would maybe bump up Monty as if you know how to play him and play him right he can be a nightmare to the defenders and he can shoot while shielded unlike clash.

Kapkan does more damage than u think the gun has easy to control recoil and u can distract people with the traps . Got my first ace with him. Edit: let me know ur opinions on him
I think Kapkan is an S tier op with 2 great primary weapons and one of the best secondary pistols (the pmm) in the game. If you play him right and know which trap went if you can give the fallout to your team and kill the said op. Granted he’s not bandit or jaeger level but he deserves to be S even if it is a lower s tier
Kapkan is very very good in some situations. If the team can drone well, Kapkan become "useless", but he's still good when it comes desperate situations.

Name: titan (attacker)
Gadget: has the ability to shoot through reinforced walls like fmj rounds but can only use 1 mag for it. 1 speed 3 armor and has access to a dmr only.

Then there is no need for a maverick, twitch or Thatcher because he can just shoot through the wall and get the bandit batteries.

To buff the ump Ubisoft should increase the fire rate by like 100
I believe Finka on console would be A tier. +30 health, reduces recoil, speeds ads time, walk faster through barb, comes with frags (can waste utility), can pick a teammate up in a dbno state (great if a cav knocks a teammate from a distance), reduces time your stunned by ela, echo, or anything that can stun or flash you. And if timed correctly takes the affect away instantly, and more. 🤷♂️
Buff idea for nøkk, give her the C8 stw because they use that in the jäger corps and it would be an S teir op
This is not relevant to the tier list, but as of yesterday, my pc can finally run siege at more then 25 fps
there are a few ops i disagree with but its overall really good

Hibanna is rarely ever the main breacher. She is the support frag with breaching ability. Her AR slams ass, I don't know why you are saying its just OK, yeah its got a low ammo cap but a high RoF and manageable recoil, has the bearing9 smg and flashes and breaches. Plenty of utility and frag power, she just requires a tad more skill to use.

Kinda just putting my spin on this tier list, personally I would move Monty to A tier because of plants and intel, and push down wamai and maestro to A and sledge to B. I would also move dude to B and move Kapkan to A. Oh and Hibana deserves S tier while Thermite deserves A tier.
Those were the changes I would make! Maybe I’ll make my own tier list...

Personally I would put caveira in s tier as I would average an interrogation a round.
And I would put iana in s tier because she has unlimited drones, grenades and the g36c.
