Hello Fatimah, great content you have here. Please a quick question, if someone is being sponsored for their studies are they required to move Funds into their personal account before arriving in the UK or should it still be in the sponsor's account with proof of Bank Statement To show at POE?

Hi, I don't think the proof of fund should be moved to personal account. This is the account the person has used to apply for the visa so it is sufficient to print this off or just explain at the point of entry that you are being sponsored. Thanks

Can I mention that I will be living at my Father Friend Home for Initial Days and then move to near by University. And Question asked about relative or friend should I say No or Yes?. Hi, Yes it is fine to say you will be staying with relative pending you sort out your accommodation. It will also be nice to know where your relative stay in the UK and have their contact details. All the best

Hi, You're welcome. I think asides your invitation letter, if you have visiting visa, my sure you have all evidence to show you're in substiting relationship with ypur boyfriend, where he lives in Uk, they could how long you've been in relationship and others questions. Hello. I have a tier 2 skilled worker visa valid for only 3 months. I learnt i will be given a BRP after my arrival. How true is this . And when asked how long am staying in uk, should I say 3 months or the number of years I will work with the company
Hi, Yes, you will pick up your BRP when you get to UK. They shouldn't ask how long you will be staying for because you're on a Tier 2 work visa. It is just good to know about your job. All the best.

Hi ma'am, If you are asked how.long you will be staying in Uk and you are in Yier 2 visa, please just say the duration of your stay. No one would purposely target you if you use scarf or hijab, please use it if you do normally and be very confident when you are being asked questions. All the best ma'am

Just tell them the duration of your your visa, if it’s a 1year work visa, you say so.

Hi Karen, I am glad you find this video informative. Do you still have employment with the company that issued the certificate of sponsorship? If you do I wouldn't think that would be a problem. You need a valid visa as well as proof of employment if you are coming in on Skilled Worker or Start up Route. It is also important to point this out to your employer if this can be renewed. Thanks

Hi Sly, most questions would be similar as discussed in the video, in addition know the type of visa you are all on, accommodation details, if you would be working in uk or not. I can't really say what exactly you would be asked but those are likely few ones. All the best.

Hi, a friend was asked this so it is possible but I find that really weird. In all, just be calm when answering any question and don't say too much.
How long will I stay in the UK with a tier 2 visa sponsorship if am asked? Should I say 5 years or I should say permanently?
If you are asked, state the length of your current visa. So if you're on 2 years' visa, just say 2 years because your visa is for 2 years. Don't say more except you are asked.

Very informative video, my question is if you're travelling with your partner like a couple are you going to que seperately and are you going to be checked differently or together as a couple?
Thank you🤗. If you are partners or couple, you are going to be checked together. Because most likely one person would be the main applicant and the other dependent, so if they need to ask questions or check documents then it would be together. Same applies if you are travelling with your kids.

No you don't have to get a return ticket.
Good morning ma'am, if am going on a skilled worker visa am I to show any proof of funds and how much do you think I should have with me, when they ask who my employer is, is it the company's name or the person that interview me please I need the reply ASAP.
Good morning, ***Disclaimer here, I am not an immigation expert**
If you are just coming in, it would be expected to have at least maintenance funds depending on where you're going to stay or work. London, for example, is expensive, then about £1270 as the main applicant. So just incase they ask you how you are going to survive I the first month, I guess you should be able to answer this by stating you have enough funds or if your company (sponsor) would be taking care of it. I hope this helps.
Hi Sis, sorry I am just seeing your question and I hope it isn't too late. Skilled Worker visa requirement has maintenance fund, yes have the proof with you just in case they ask. If they don't ask don't show them. Please check www.gov.uk for how much because they change this from time to time.

Hi, with a sponsorship visa, I don't think you will be asked for your proof of fund like those on student visa route. Also please refer to gov.uk for updates because they change all of these requirements often. Thanks

Hi, I am not sure they can do that for confidentiality but I heard they could check your bank app on phone. Better still, print off your proof of fund and take it with you, just in case you are asked.

Hi, it is fine to have more than stated, but not too much. It also depends on your situation, for example if you are working and in your application letter you stated you want to spend your 3 weeks annual leave in Uk, and then your return ticket says you are spending 3 months, in this situation you may be question hard. Hi, leave to enter isn't a visa type. Are you on a visitor's visa, spousal visa or skilled worker? Most visa would say leave to enter on brp card.
