I'd be willing to bet that the Discworld f-bomb is a nod to Eric Idle's fellow Monty Python cast mates. John Cleese was famously the first person to say s**t on British television, but wanting to be the first person to say f**k at a British funeral was part of his wonderful eulogy at Graham Chapman's funeral (which I highly recommend to anyone, as it is irreverent and heartfelt and perfect).
Joke's on them, we've all heard of Yuji Naka. Maybe somebody knows the names of the people who had a problem with giving credit where it's due, but I imagine most of us would have to research it. That is interesting. Not "We found him, but he declined to comment", not "We found him, but he died", but "In this age of information, we still don't know who this is."
2:00 did it!? Thats crazy cause i knew about it right away and thought it was just part of the game. I like to investigate everything when playing games like last of us and that time i got sidetracked with my kid too so i saved it before leaving the house or anything and attended him. Didn’t think much of the screen since i already knew of that type of ant, just thought it was a fun nod but nothing easter egg worthy.
@standandyliver it's the gaming industry do you really think the developers are going to be allowed to leave their workstation at all. The higher ups are too greedy to let that happen

Its wild video game companies wouldnt give credit to developers and people had to hide it
The early years though there programmers weren't as common. And companies didn't want other's trying to poach employees from their company
Some companies like Nintendo still do it.
@@ASLTheatre yeah but programmers aren't as rare as they were in the early years. So it's not as bad now
The happy birthday message is so wholesome
I miss cheat codes and cheat books. It gave all your old games a new life lol. Mortal kombat in particular lol
What crossed my mind was: do people know for certain that Chris Houlihan is male? Just a thought. 😂

#1 Nice mention but your dates are way off, the houlihan room was a pretty well known Easter egg even before the 2000s.
Me and my brother found that Chris Hoonahan room back in 93 lol. Never thought anything of it
I came across the Fallout 76 one yesterday by random chance whilst hunting for insects
Love the Easter egg videos

Showing that moment with Sarah is just mean.
Obviously for streamers n youtubers ....no rocket science needed
Nice video bro, i like the contrast of new and old easter eggs.
game devs were evil back when, not letting people write their names was so they couldn't get better jobs.
Mmmm.....Ehhhhgggggssss.
Saying left by The developers is redundant who the hell else would have left them goblins or something no obviously not
Cleaners/ other workers in the same building who can code!?
