I got my 2015 with 80K miles for $29K … one owner , elderly retired couple … looks and drives like new …don’t worry about maintenance cost, just keep on top of things, regular service , don’t abuse it, take care of it , and show it some love, and it’ll run forever … oh yes, almost forgot , stay away from Mercedes dealer garage lol , that is where it’ll cost you an arm and a leg for every little thing …
@@BENZK-j9t👍 preventive maintenance will save you a lots of money … mine is at the shop right now for a 80K service … new spark plugs , new cabin filters etc … total cost of $900 … I can’t wait to get it back , and drive it 😊 … that car is a blast , brings me so much enjoyment and excitement , every time I sit behind the wheel is a experience… unlike all those other boring cars I used to own …
@@BENZK-j9thow much you pay in total? I saw ones in Copart for around 20k and 40k it’s a car that I want when I get a good job to buy it and pay the expensive parts and services. How’s you’re an experience so far and any tip to this young man to reach this dream?
I just bought one thank God I was able to and I almost bought a bmw 7 series but this thing drives way better than the bmw 7 series of this generation and that big screen in front of you is beautiful with the ambient lighting.
I disagree on the Benz driving better. I had a 2015 s550 amg sport and I also now have a BMW 750li M sport with some engine mods. My Beemer outperforms the Benz in terms of performance and handling. The Benz is more comfy on the inside but heavier than my Beemer. I still like the outside of the Benz over BMW. Great video though.
Just got my S500 back from the service shop and watching this video to enjoy myself ) This is the best S class MB has produced so far. 223 is riddled with problems and attracts much lower ratings across the board.
I had a SL 500 convertible. I had a BMW325 convertible while living in Naples, Florida. I really enjoyed them but three months ago I bought a 1999 S500 with only 190,000.00 km in Europe and it looks new outside and inside. It drives like a jet. 26 years old. You can drive it up to one million kilometers. Then they ship it to Pakistan, India, Asia, blah…..Unbelievable. Four more years for me and maybe I will get another one or a SL 55 AMG convertible. My health will tell. Yahoo🎉for Germans!!!!!!! They don’t like speaking English but when it comes to Engineering they are the best.
I own this car with 29k , 6 months in and it's the best car iv ever owned. I had a C300 don't even compare. Looks all day even thats its older ..... S550 are rare on most streets in wisconsin.
Man you can't go wrong with that! The W222 S Class is absolutely gorgeous, MANY people prefer it over the current Gen. I would agree with many who say this is peak S Class.
Interior is a little nicer in the W222 than the W221 but both offer fantastic rides. My favorite S-Class is still the W140 but they’re all amazing in their own ways!
As an owner of a 2015 s550 it’s a amazing car to have, only complaints I have about it is the slow transmission and how long it is which could make parking more difficult but also means you have a lot of space inside. And if you ever get “bored” of the car, tuning the engine and transmission will make it feel extremely fun to drive, I would recommend weistec for that
Driver Assistance Package (Includes DISTRONIC PLUS, PRE-SAFE with pedestrian detection, active blind spot assist, active lane keeping assist, and collision mitigation system.)
I currently own a 97 w140 s500, my second s class. I love this car feels like a tank and has a real secure feel when you drive, feels effortless. I am selling this car and hopefully getting a w221 12-13 s550/s63. I love the w222 the most in terms of a modern s class because they did it perfectly other than the rear leg room being smaller compared to prior models. the w223 brand new one, it’s complete dog shit. looks awful from every angle and the interior is based on a tesla. way too mainstream looking now.
To me the W140 feels the most solid out of them all in terms of materials and build quality, feels like driving a tank haha. The W222 is nearly perfect! Personally I also prefer the W222 over the W223, the 223 looks too much like a Tesla and doesn’t have that same appeal that the previous s classes have.

I will own this car one day. There's nothing I want more than this
I got my s550 for 40k with 20k miles , just look around. I had to pay shipping but it was worth it.

@@BENZK-j9t Holy fuck I think it's a good deal, did you test drive the thing before purchase or just depended on luck?
This is a gorgeous vehicle, the road presence this car has 🔥 everyone stops and looks, including me lol I hope to own one one day

I almost did the same "760LI V12 BMW, that would have been a nightmare..... Still the maint on a v12 is on avg of 4-6 grand a year.
@@BENZK-j9t wow that’s not okay I just want to drive a 760 hard and fast like I stole it for a few days.

I own a 2012 ml550, close enough lol, got 2 sunroofs, screens, amg rims and packaging.
I have a 2016 S550. Glossy grey. Love my beauty
Got to see this one and sit in it. Absolutely gorgeous, crazy road presence. It's a true gem. Im currently looking to buy a 16 S600 Maybach

4.7 twin turbo, not 4.6 :)
We need the night drive!
Picking up one of these in the exact spec, coming from a older ml63. Excited to get it, plan to get the renntech tune for it for the extra power.
Bro..in Canada I’m looking at a black 2015 s550 4 matic premium package. 76,000km $39,900 mb dealership. What do you think

Another one 2010 s550 4matic 74,000km $25,800
The W221 S Class are gorgeous

Monday my new microphone is arriving so you can enjoy better audio when I film the review on this bad boy!
definitely talk about how this feels compared to the previous generations like the s500 you drove@@damiankikolski
The sclass i want or a 221 i have a w220 but those are all approved versus my s500.
