I thought about doing the same thing with the glue because I have several around my hairline that come undone with every wash and I just hit my one year anniversary. At what point after getting sisterlocks did you start using oils?
The nail glue works. You only need a very small drop at the very end of the lock. I still haven't used oils directly. I put a few small drops of essential oils as mentioned in the video in my spray bottle with water. Other than that, I don't use any oils at all. When my locks mature I'll start using more oils maybe depending on the needs of my hair. So far my hair is doing fine without it.

Your locks are beautiful. Why do you use distilled water?
I use a mix of distilled and rose water with a few drops of essential oils to moisturize my scalp and locs.
