I found this video right in time. After being sisterlocked for a year, I’m doing my first retightening next week. Trying to figure out how to deal with the loose hair around some locs have been a worry. Not anymore thanks to you. I appreciate you making this video.

My consultant told me I have the type of hair that grows outside of the grid during my first retie. I have this issue all around my edges, the crown and especially in the back. Basically all over, lol! And for this reason I will continue to go to a consultant because I don't have the patience to do it myself. I'm so glad I found this video because many don't understand the concept of hair growing outside of the grid. Many try to say its due to breakage and it's not. It's just how our hair grows. Great video!!
